We saw All Quiet on the Western Front last night.  We liked it.

Meh. Maybe 2/10 if I'm generous.
I loved this movie.  Can't believe you ranked it so low?
  • We Have A Ghost.

Some loose ends but don't let that deter you.  A wonderful movie.  Well written.

    A definite watch!

I'm glad you like it. To each their own. I don't think it was as funny as the trailer indicated. Or, maybe I was just feeling a bit too "get off my lawn, you whippersnappers" that day to enjoy it.

Boy, they weren't kidding, LOL. It really is just women talking. This movie would bore a lot of people to death. It bored my sister to death I'd say, even though she could acknowledge that the acting is very good, which it really is. At one point I went to the washroom and asked her what I missed when I got back and her reply was, "I don't know, I wasn't listening." I liked it a lot more. But yeah, hardly anything happens.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

HA!  I saw Portugal the man in concert shortly after watching this movie and the lead singer had his face painted up like the lead role.  So there are more fans out there.

I liked it, but it was also way darker than I expected. The wife & I don't sit down together much to watch movies, and I thought "Hey, this looks like a good movie that might lift our spirits" as we've had a tough couple of months dealing w/ aging family members.

    Yeah, no.

This was actually a lot of fun. Statham, Plaza, Grant, and the rest of the cast are great. A breezy British Mission Impossible.

I thought this movie was weird.  The acting was good but the plot was just bonkers.

It was way darker than I expected. The acting was fantastic, but yeah... not fun to watch when all is said & done.

Yeah, had a weird 80s vibe with that soundtrack. Your Next is more Scream type slasher but much better. Not as meta.
