And Big Ed Hurley as Reverend Werewolf!
Oh, and I think Anne of Green Gables is the sister/narrator.
Great film. Visual effects and cinematography were outstanding (should win an oscar for at least one of them). The woman who played Neil's wife was also great (should be at least nominated for best actress). Damien Chazelle might win an oscar for best director. Best picture? it's up there but don't think it will win.
Also saw The Rocky Horror Picture show in a theater with a live cast. That's always fun.

I'm pretty sure that's the only thing i've seen her in. Is the Crown a tv show? Doesn't ring a bell as a movie.

Omg, The Crown is SO good. I've just binge watched the first two seasons for the second time, and can't wait for the 3rd season. It's just so well done. One of the best things Netflix has ever done (and apparently the most expensive).

This is my 9,868th post on this message board since I first joined back in 2004. I mention this because I (for the most part) stand by those previous 9,867 posts. I've had some bad takes and shared incorrect info from time to time like everybody does, but nothing I'm ashamed of...until now. This post I'm about to make in this "What Was The Last Movie You Watched" thread is something I'm completely ashamed of and if you want to ridicule me, you have the right...………….
That post has been up for only 15 seconds now and I already feel the need to defend it. I watched the Nostalgia Critic's review of Freddy Got Fingered and enjoyed the review. I had seen the first half of Freddy back in high school when I was completely stoned, hated it, and didn't give it much thought again until I watched the Nostalgia Critic's review. It inspired (not the right word but whatever) me to watch it again.
I enjoyed FGF. It is one of the most idiotic movies ever made but there are several scenes I crack up just remembering.
One man's trash is another man's treasure.
Some 'Best Movies Ever' lists have Titanic and Forrest Gump on them. I think Forrest Gump is a sham of a movie, although it was entertaining enough the first time. Not amazing, imo.
Titanic? I would rather get kicked in the nuts repeatedly than ever watch that movie.
All a matter of personal taste.
Your 9,868th post is great, btw, I just happen to remember FGF differently.

After watching it again, I appreciated the absurdity of it all. The Nostalgia Critic put it well....
"It's so bad it's bad, and that bad is so bad it's bad, and that bad is so bad it's GOOD, and that good is so bad it's bad."
Titanic has an abysmal script and shitty acting, but where it succeeds is in familiarizing the viewer with every square inch of the massive vessel so that there is a sense of sadness when it sinks. Unfortunately, it's not for the humans on board but rather for the ship itself. Set design, cinematography, sound design, lighting and direction are all aces. Also, boobs.
We destroyed my television the night Forrest Gump won an Oscar for best picture. What a sentimental piece of garbage that film was. Good soundtrack, though.

Freddy Got Fingered
That one little musical clip from the trailers, "Daddy would you like some sausage?", was all worth it.

That song has been stuck in my head since I watched the Nostalgia Critic's video. A fate worse than death.

That is one of the scenes I think of and laugh. He has the various sausages tied up to go up and down in accordance with his playing of the keyboard? Hahaha.
