This is my 9,868th post on this message board since I first joined back in 2004. I mention this because I (for the most part) stand by those previous 9,867 posts. I've had some bad takes and shared incorrect info from time to time like everybody does, but nothing I'm ashamed of...until now. This post I'm about to make in this "What Was The Last Movie You Watched" thread is something I'm completely ashamed of and if you want to ridicule me, you have the right...………….
Freddy Got Fingered
That one little musical clip from the trailers, "Daddy would you like some sausage?", was all worth it.
That is one of the scenes I think of and laugh. He has the various sausages tied up to go up and down in accordance with his playing of the keyboard? Hahaha.
Me and my sister still randomly quote it together for some reason - it just sticks in your head!
I liked it a lot. Some pretty cool death scenes and nice references/nods to the first film. Ending was kinda cool.

Is there fucking anyone that knows how to make a good horror film anymore? I will say the opening sequence was pretty decent but it lost any potential after that.
I liked it a fair bit actually. It was better than I expected it to be. The ending left something to be desired, and the acting job the teenage boy does needed a bit of work IMO, but it was entertaining and held my attention.

Pretty decent directorial debut by Jonah Hill. Soundtrack was also very good.

Bohemian Rhapsody - I mostly enjoyed it, though I can see why it's getting mixed reviews. On the one hand, I think the casting was superb, Rami Malek in particular, was spot on, but I think this was going to be an impossible film to get 'right'. The truth is that Freddie Mercury was a very troubled character, and with the high highs came the really low lows. Trying to capture that, yet still deliver an uplifting film to match the general public's view of him as a rock god was a very difficult task.

Oddly enjoyable for a terrible, campy, sexist, 80s budget quasi-creature feature. Michael Moriarty did a bizarrely good job in this IMO - there was something weirdly appealing about his performance.

Victoria and Abdul (2017). Wasn't sure if I'd like this one or not. I did! I thought it was great. Nicely done, some interesting history. Likely will see this one again sometime.

I've always heard the "lighten up, Francis" quote (and even used it), but never knew its origin.

Singin’ in the Rain - An all time classic. Though I tend to picture a particular scene in A Clockwork Orange when I hear the title tune.
One of my all-time favorites.
