Watched Spotlight on Saturday night. It was very good, scary subject. The Catholic church is f'd up. Only other nominated movies I saw were The Revenant and Mad Max. I'd put it behind those 2.
    Alright, alright, alright!

I still need to see Brooklyn and Room of the 8 BP nominees.

I saw Revenant on Friday and it was a well made movie. Not sure why Leo won best actor as he didn't really have many lines. Doubt I would watch it again as it was very long. Also watched Room on Sunday. Very good movie. I saw all of the best picture nods and I think liked the Big Short the most.

That and the entire world was tired of hearing "When's Leo gonna win an Oscar?" talk. But he definitely deserves one, so I'm glad he finally got it.

The Witch. It was solid, Was expecting more horror then "suspense/ thriller" though.

I enjoyed it a lot. I think most of the people who dislike it were expecting some kind of slasher/pop scares movie.
It is a slow burner with very good acting, atmosphere. Will be picking up the S/T for sure.

Whitehouse down. I should say I heard it, not watched it. I was painting two canvases to decorate my condo.

Black Mass on Thursday night. Not good. I was disappointed. Not sure someone who didn't already know the Whitey Bulger story would be able to entirely follow it.

Bridge of Spies last night. Pretty good and better than I expected.
