Finally saw Black Panther. Lives up to all the hype and then some! Really loved it.

I kept reading all these articles about how it is the scariest film ever and it’s causing people to not be able to go to sleep. I’ve been hungry for a good horror film that freaks me the fuck out for a long time and man! To say this film was a disappointment would be a huuuuge understatement. I’ll have no problem sleeping tonight. I’m surprised it didn’t put me to sleep while watching it. There wasn’t a damn thing scary about it at all. Not even cheap jump scares.

Agreed. The true story itself is pretty interesting but this film is not. Its a middle of the road typical Ouija board horror movie. Nothing else.
And so you see, I have come to doubt All that I once held as true I stand alone without beliefs The only truth I know is you.
A bit late...but we saw Black Panther on the weekend. Enjoyed it.

I have heard nothing but good things about Wind River. I need to check out that one.
I made it through about half of Rough Night and then fell asleep. Scarlett Johansson just sucks, and she's even worse at comedy. What an awful casting decision. I hate to see the amazing comedic chops of Jillian Bell, Kate McKinnon and Ilana Glazer squandered on a script that doesn't know which direction to take after the turning point of the first act.
I was looking forward to a feature film made by some of the hilarious women of Broad City, but maybe they're just better with shorter scripts, and casting awful, painfully unfunny actors doesn't help either.

I tried a bit of this on cable not long ago and turned it off as well. I won't say ScarJo sucks...she checks off a few items, but I didn't find it to be funny. Dont know Glazer too well but love the work of the other 2 women you mention. Will have to check Glazer's work out.

When I first saw Scarlett Johansson in Ghost World, I thought she was amazing as the very realistic and disaffected cynic. Then she played that same character in almost every other film. She does Jersey trash well in Don Jon and crazy-ass sidepiece well in Match Point, but those are more caricatures than characters. It's also nice to watch her bounce around while she kicks someone's ass in sexually suggestive ways in the Marvel films, etc., but that ain't really acting.
Wind River. Didn't even know going in that Hugh Dillon was in it. First time I've actually enjoyed his acting. very good movie.
You didn’t like him in The Killing? I thought he was great in that.
have never watched that show, so can't comment. I got turned off his acting after Flashpoint and Durham County. His range seemed pretty much non-existent to me. I think my wife enjoyed the first season of that show, but I see Hugh didn't join until season 3?
@F Me In The Brain Check out Broad City. It's a Comedy Central show, so I think it's available on Hulu. It takes a while to click (namely, to appreciate the relationships between the principals), but most of the episodes are pretty damn funny.
Excellent film focusing on a small company of soldiers in the trenches in the days leading up to the Battle of the Somme and the moment they go over the top

I see his character name was Curtis but I don't recall the names of the people in the movie. I thought it wasn't a bad movie, though.
