    Monuments Men

Kind of an Ocean's 11 meets the Dirty Dozen. Good not great. Felt rushed. Might need to pick up the book.

I like the ending of Gone Girl - it makes the movie more interesting, and is the part that creates discussion and debate, and also defines what the entire movie is actually about IMO.

    Seven Pounds.

Not a particularly good movie, but damn, the last 5 minutes had me bawling.

Jupiter Ascending or whatever it was called.
Spectacularly awful. But, Channing Tatum. So, ok. Bonus points for lobster shaped spaceships.
I do want to know how a container ship goes from Russia to the US via the Atlantic Ocean.

    Lucy.

I actually liked it. Just interesting. I wouldn't call it a very good movie, but it certainly held my attention.

The Grand Budapest Hotel - Liked it a lot.
Have now seen 7 of the 8 Oscar nominated films.
Still need to see American Sniper which is playing everywhere.
Liked all 7 so far and not sure which one I liked the most.

You can add me to this list! The film was pretty good but the ending was really frustrating.

I like his style, this was a very interesting movie. I actually laughed at some his other movies much more but this was very entertaining and the direction was beautiful. Loved all of the "known" actors playing quirky roles as well.

A most violent year: Jessica Chastain is my new favorite, she's great. Oscar Isaac great too.... Great acting. Albert Brooks the man, cool film

The Drop: another good one......seeing James on screen was tough. Tom Hardy is phenomenal

I was in a crime/gangster mood this weekend

I do not like movies that beg you to make guesses at who the bad guy is yet never give you any real hints. Thumbs down.

Yeah....the bad guys reasons for doing it were pretty lame at the end. But I'll always enjoy Liam Neeson being a badass.

Here he is circa 1981 as Gawain in 1981, his first major movie - Excalibur. I must have watched this movie 50 times on HBO as a kid, one of my favorites.
