  • A Most Wanted Man.
Very good. One of Phillip Seymour Hoffman's last movies.
"The stars are all connected to the brain."
  • Inherent Vice. Liked it. Maybe didn't need to be so long.

    Kingsman: The Secret Service

Overall it was enjoyable. The fight scenes were awesome. The plot and storyline were ok, kinda predictable.

    I loved this movie.Very entertaining.

    Saw 2 recently-
Red Army--documentary about the USSR hockey program and their players. My bf is a huge hockey/Red Wings fan, so this was mainly for him, but I really enjoyed it and found it pretty interesting! Definitely something hockey fans should see.

Whiplash- I enjoyed it. Maybe not to the hype level out there, but thought it was pretty good.

  • Guardians of the Galaxy b/c I am on a Chris Pratt trip right now. He's hot in the movie but I prefer the cuddly version.
  • Just saw Good Will Hunting last night. Had seen it when it first came out, but wanted to watch it again. Really really good movie-highly recommend!

Saw a new movie and a classic over the weekend
Wild- book was terrific, and waaay better than the movie, but still an enjoyable watch
Coming to America-can't believe I've waited this long to see this movie (which I say often, not much of a movie person...slowly seeing all the classics I should have watched ages ago)

Whiplash. Was ok. The music kept it lively. JK Simmons was good. The language felt overdone and unnecessary at that level. I got the fact that JKs character was a dick and a hard ass but it seemed over the top. And I'm not someone who is offended by language
Foxcatcher. Didn't think it was worth all the hype. Long movie and very slow. Steve Carrell should be commended just for going that far out of the box he usually goes in.
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Came out a few years back but just watched it. Good movie. The kid annoyed me a little at times though.
