You'll be throwing your hat tonight to the ice when we have a Hat Trick tonight !!

I think Carter is due big time !

Not quite the hat trick, but an incredible game for Carter anyway! Nice Call!!

I'll be down at McFadden's at the ballpark watching Game 5 tomorrow before the Phils destroy the Mets.

how about when Biron misplayed the puck in the final seconds of the 3rd!! he played great in net, but he had some shitty puck handling.

Wow what a fucking game.... unbelievable. That's the loudest and most intense I've ever heard that building. A great game all around, a few miscues with Biron handling the puck, and an outstanding performance from Carter (nice call Phantom). The Caps did a nice job of employing the left wing lock to keep the Flyers from getting out of their own zone.... but I think this loss has to be demoralizing, especially after Ovie shits the bed and then Briere scores a few minutes later to tie it up.

Should be a great game on Sat, the Flyers have to come out and be prepared for a flurry of Cap chances.... weather the storm and then pop on in like games 1 and 2 and I think we could wrap this series up.

Yeah, its great to have playoff hockey back in Philly. I'm sure that place had to be as, if not more, electric as it was Tuesday night. Glad you got to experience it.

I really think the Caps are going to fold tomorrow. As you said, this loss has to be demoralizing. It was probably the best the Caps played all series, and they still lost.

And man, how stressful is playoff hockey? I couldn't sit still through the overtimes, I missed that feeling last year.

He's been playing unreal the last part of the season and the playoffs

I wish I could always predict games ;)

I don't think that building was quiet for a second last night !

Constant noise......they said even in the Commercial breaks..lol

We have to keep our foot on their throats Saturday bury them early

Before we end the game with a win give Green a few shots for good measure !

Ain't that the truth. I was pacing in my living room. I really think its got to have a mental effect on the losing team, especially a team that has now lost 3 in a row.

At least you could pace... I was stuck on the edge of my seat, clapping my hands till they were raw and screaming till my throat was the same. I think I was actually alittle lightheaded right after the goal.... jumped up high fived my buddy ran up about 5 rows hugged and high fived about 10 other people and then soaked in the scene on the ice.....

I agree the game had a bunch of missed/bad calls

No worse then Game 3 with Koharski

That penalty shot was a horrible call

    Knuble after scoring last night......

"It's an unbelievable feeling to score in this town and hear the building go nuts," Knuble said. "You pinch yourself. You can't believe it's happening."

I agree that the call looked bad... however it was right in front of us and he made no attempt to not fall on Biron. He stopped, was nudged and then fell over Biron.... it should have been a no call but they have called that same play earlier in the series against the Flyers. The officiating has been bad and inconsistent all series and playoffs.. hell even before the playoffs.

Yep.. actually was kinda surprised that Upshall didn't get a goalie interference after Carter's 1st goal.... Upshall just ran over Huet after the puck was in the net :D

Well boys this is what you get when you show up for one period

I guess the team feels like they can turn it off or on when they want

Not smart.......you gotta bury teams when you have the chance

Now Knuble is out for the series tweaked Hammy

They went through through the motions for 2 periods yesterday

How about when Federov scored the announcers says "Great Pick by Ovechkin."

    ????

    Penalty maybe on a pick

so so game yesterday.. the Caps came out like they had to win and they did.. the Flyers had opportunities early and couldn't put them away.... and Biron kept them in it for the first 30 minutes or so. That said, we have to win at home tomorrow, that's it.... As for Nubes being hurt, its a tough loss especially with that line playing so well but with the depth we have, his loss shouldn't be that great. Figure that Umberger can move to that line, Thoresen to the Richards line and either Cote or Downie back in the line up on the 4th line.....

And the Flyers were still in the game even though they were down and out played most of it.... one or two bounces and we tie it or even win, so I'm not looking at it as a devastating loss or a huge impressive victory by Washington.
