Like I said, I know someone, a fantastic high school and college athlete in super shape who had a heart attack trying coke the first time. they didnt die, but their heart is now messed up.

Back to the original topic....heroin will fuck you days up big time for a long time. I say dont try it, not even once.

it's probably not the norm to OD first time on heroin either... but it happens.

Also, as with any drug... unless you make the shit from scratch, you have NO idea what the fuck you're putting up your nose... we all know that no street cocaine is pure (as that in itself would kill you anyway) so therefore you're putting your TRUST in a DRUG DEALER (several probably) to ensure they're mixing it with stuff that's SAFE to shove up your nose (what a contradiction in terms eh? ) and even if it's only some kinda harmful medication, you could be allergic.

I dont get what is funny about this drug. It is the leading killer in our country, and they hide this and do not do shit about it. Friends of friends, local people in the city area. people from your schools, other family memebers in the community.
Honestly.
I know more people in my area over ten years that have died from this drug than any other.
Not just friends people that I knew maybee the equivilant to someone I was aware of from work or local sports.
I know 2 differant girls I coach sports for that had people in their fmilies die. There were 4 kids in the local high school that have died in the last 2 years.
I live in new jersey, the population is high, but I dont live in a ghetto either, I live in a community, so its everywhere.

You can take Heroin only once...but chances are against you. Addictive personality, social setting, age of first time experience, financial situation, and lifestyle all have a part in whether or not you get "addicted" to heroin or if you try it more than once.

To answer your question, I have done heroin "only" one time. I have a friend who used it for a period of a year and a half and is now successfully clean...I have another friend who used it for over 7 years, and it was hell getting him to come off of it...he is currently successful, but there is no telling if he will be able to stay "clean" Additionally I knew a beautiful human being who used heroin for roughly 12 years...before succumbing to an overdose.

I realize that you were asking for information (from a merely curious standpoint) therefore I am not going to give you a "cautionary tale" I don't believe that humans should be considered as such for each other. Everyone has unique drives and experiences...it would be presumptuous of me to assume that you would get addicted, or would not get addicted from a single dose...I hope that you are not considering "trying" the drug - mostly because, the IF involved is huge and greasy...

if you DO try it - remember, you are still a human being - it changes nothing.

Get over yourself. I wasn't being flippant, I was telling the truth. As far as I'm concerned it's a very fucking serious issue. You know jack shit about me. I have very strong feelings on certain drugs for my own personal reasons that you know nothing about and heroin is one of them. Who are you to say that my point is heroin is a good thing? Please find the post in which I said that because I don't remember it. I DO have a problem with people mouthing off like they know something when they are just giving false information. A very good friend of mine snorts herion every now and then. He never wants to shoot up though (that always comes up if it's the topic). I'd say he's got it under control. He never buys it, only takes it if it's given to him or he finds some (yes he has found some more than once at work of all places).

I should add that he enjoys beer and weed frequently. So that may be what helps him stay away from it. He is a good person. He holds a job and pays the bills in his household. He's also a great mechanic.


Don't try it. Shit it scary. Every time he gets it (not all that often) he'll ask if I want some and I tell him no and that's the end of it.

Again OP, I wouldn't recommend trying it. The risk is of addiction is far too great in my book.
