wow, who would have thought the Leafs would grace us with another 8 goals against game this season.

Once was great, twice was even better, but the third time was a charm, especially right at the end of the season

What was with Maurice leaving Toskala in for all the goals ?

i can't agree with you more. it my opinion maurice should have been fired during the game just for playing Toskala. he cares more about his job than the team.

well, ignoring the reasons on why starting him, just the fact that he left him in there for whole game did not make sense. You'd think he would have pulled him after the 4th goal or the 5th, or the 6th, or for the third period

    Strange decision

Have you people seen the new trailer for Mike Myers now flick " The Love Guru " ?

The plotline surrounds your team and one of its fictional star players. :

This is the funniest fucking thing any idiot associated with the Toronto Maple Laffs may have ever said.
So he says the new GM will be able to hire a coach of his choice, so when he was asked if he thought all the good coaches would be gone by the time they got a new GM (i.e. why did you fire the coach when you don't have a GM) he comes up with this gem:

"Fletcher didn't think waiting for a new GM to hire his own coach would cost the Leafs good candidates. "I think the coaching job of the Toronto Maple Leafs is the plum job in the National Hockey League," he said. "And I feel that any serious candidates won't mind marking time a little bit until our situation is resolved."

    Done!
We get nothing for Ryder. He's UFA this year (and every year).
Bob the Builder still likes him though (I think).

I hope we keep those two Kostitsyn's signed. Sergei spent a good amount of playoff time diving though...

Yeah its to bad that the Knights lost all that talent to the NHL, Kane, Gagner and Kostitsyn, but yeah i like Sergei, im sure he will learn that diving isn't always a good thing, craft the art like Darcy Tucker.

This year will be a good year I think. Andrei was better last year but he had an extra year on Sergei.
Looking forward to a new team next season?

Well i guess Nonis is stopping by in Toronto next week, hopefully if he gets the job he won't spend all the money on defensemen like he did in Vancouver.

Or at least don't lock them up at 8 million a year for 8 years with no trade clauses :)

Yeah your right Kubina, Kaberle and McCabe, at least Van got good solid defensemen, but i think the Leafs were better off offensively, if Nonis does becomes gm hopefully he will pull off a great trade like he did getting rid of Bertuzzi for Luongo.
