Leafs lost again. How am I not surprised? Have fun missing the playoffs again. Also have fun fighting with Buffalo over tee times on the first hole next spring!

Shortest. Article. Ever. What do you want me to say? The Leafs are much better at comedy than I am. Don't believe me? Tune in Saturday at 7:30 pm ET!

I would add that Tucker made Crysby look like the calmest mofo ever to put on the skates with his SUPER tantrum on the bench. Hilarious!
    Where are you Kenny?

It has been a long season, but i love to suffer with each and every loss, Tucker was mad cause he had two empty nets and threw the puck right into the goalie hehe, can i now say Raycroft is the worst goalie in NHL history. 4 goals 11 shots.

    Tomas Vokoun - 3 shots, 3 goals :p

I figured Tucker would be used to that. He put on quite the bench show, very funny.

But Vokoun isn't terrible every night out, where's Les Canadien's thread this morning, i guess another victory over Boston is the norm.

Leafs call up Pogge, claim Moore

    TSN.ca Staff

    1/11/2008 1:23:11 PM

After posting a 2-8-2 record in their last 12 games and falling to 14th place in the Eastern Conference, the Toronto Maple Leafs have called up goaltender Justin Pogge and claimed forward Dominic Moore off waivers from the Minnesota Wild.

The 21-year old Pogge is 13-3 with 4 losses in the shootout for the AHL Toronto Marlies. He has a 2.27 Goals against average with a .908 save percentage.

Pogge could get the start in San Jose on Saturday but no decision has been made.

The 2005-06 CHL goalie of the year was selected in the third round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Leafs.

In 186 career NHL games with the New York Rangers and the Wild, Moore has accumulated 41 points.

Moore was acquired from Pittsburgh for Minnesota's third-round pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft on Feb. 27, 2007.

should have been before this season started

better effort on the ice tonight, though they just coughed up the lead late after being up 2-0 heading in the 3rd

if it's not getting smoked in the 1st period, it's loosing leads in the 3rd

have you ever seen such a hapless team ?

I couldn't believe the 3 period, it all starts with Hal Gill tipping the puck past Toskala, then a shot where Toskala was to far back in his net and couldn't see the shot till the last second, then there was the winning goal, all Kaberle had to do was tie the guys stick up in front of the net, but no, 3-2 game over :(

TSN said he did but I was looking in the wrong spot when they showed the replay...

He did, but it was gentle, it was at the end of the game as he was skating off the ice, the linesman kinda got in his way and he gently shoved him, i don't even know if Mats knew it was a linesman.

  • I am a Leafs fan and for that reason I hope they lose every game for the rest of this season and all of next season.

Stamkos and Tavres would be a great rebuilding model

that kind of radical, prudent long-term planning has evaded this franchise from before I was born
