  • i know it was a freak thing....but damn osi gets hurt a lot. last year he was sick and started every game but every other year hes been out. very injury prone and brittle i suppose. todays paper was saying how he was like this in college too even had the same knee injury on the same knee.

two options......try to bring back strahan. Or move kiwanuka back to DE. problem there is our LB's are verryyy weak. Trade???
    Damn Osi!!!!!!!!!!!!

They already moved Kiwanuka to DE and my guess is they'll hope for the best with their other LBs. Strahan would be nice, and they could afford him, especially after making their final cuts this week. Best case is he could be back for week 5, after their bye week so if they do sign him and got even 1-2 through week 5 they'll be sitting pretty.

No player, past or present, wants 4 preseason games. This is a prime example why.

Kiwanuka was pretty good at DE. Fast as hell off the ball. A little more NFL maturity and he could be nasty. Just not too fond of the LB startes other than Pierce. He'll now be joined by Danny Clark and Wilkenson as the starters.
Anyone else notice Pierce did not play on Saturday

  • If they cut out 2 preseason games and this Osi injury happened in week 1 of the regular season, does that make it less painful a loss for the Giants? No, out for the year is out for the year.

so do we bring back Strahan for 8 million dollars that he wants?

according to espn and daily news he'd "consider coming out of retirement for $8mil"

He won't make them worse, but I don't think he should come back. How few people get to retire on top like him. His legacy is set in stone...unless he comes back.

More games = more injuries for every team. Not too hard to figure out.

    He'll still be on top

    on top of Brady
on top of Favre and on top of every other QB we need him to sack

he can only help and I cant see how he would be detrimental to the team in any shape form or fashion

If they cut out 2 preseason games, of course they'd add 2 regular season games so it would even out.
