You know, I thought really hard about this, and I did wonder. But then I know I've not txtd any other girls - other than friends - over the past month, and that any dodgy stuff on my phone would have been from before I first slept with her. I was still flirting with other girls just after I first met her, but we hadn't become 'a couple' at the point that I first met her in a bar, so those other txts were legit in my book.
But yeah, I did think long and hard, but I was pretty certain that she had no case against me...thank God.

the main issue I would have is their reason for reading them. If he reads them to check up on me, I'd be seriously pissed off. It means he doesn't trust me... and one thing I'm big on is trust. I couldn't go out with someone I don't trust or who doesn't trust me... I just couldn't. If it's something they do for no reason, just cos... I probably wouldn't be bothered... I wouldn't have it in me to be up to something I shouldn't be up to and he should know that about me if he knows anything about me! If he doesn't know that about me, we're not going anywhere.

There's no reason for someone else to read my messages, whoever they are, they are for me and me alone! As i said i have nothing to hide, its just the principal. Its not even just to do with serious stuff. How do people who allow their partners to read all their business ever plan surprises, or keep things that are personal to them, completely for them?

I don't get it either byrnzie... a friend of mine had a difficult situation with her fiancee a couple of years back. It was nothing that couldn't be fixed... but another friend of hers was all 'oh just get rid of him, I wouldn't put up with that... no man's worth it' and all that bullshit... and I had to chip in 'but hang on, this is the first thing that's gone wrong in the relationship and you're really really good together... why would you give it up so easily?
