My girlfriend read my messages

My girl told me this week she doesn't want to see me anymore. I lost my phone down her way a couple of weeks ago, and someone found it and handed it in to her. She then read my txt messages and has told me she doesn't want to see me anymore.
Any messages to other girls were made before I met her - about a month and a half ago. She hasn't told me what it was specifically that upset her - I still haven't gotten my phone back so I can't see. But WTF? Is she being unreasonable?
I'm a bit gutted.

  • How old is she ??

She sounds a little immature to not tell you why ?

If the text messages were from a month ago she can check the dates on all of them

    I agree...

The thing is, I know there were messages on there telling a couple of other girls that I thought they were lovely e.t.c, and just the usual flirtation stuff - and there may be a message to a mate of mine bragging about how many girls I met when I moved to Seoul - but this was before we'd met. So I don't know what her problem is. I mean, why would such stuff bother her?
Maybe she is just being immature...I dunno.

Insist on seeing her immediately, then show up at her place unexpectedly (immediately). Sound deeply concerned but not angry. When she opens the door walk in, then begin to scold her as you drape her over your knee, and administer her a firm spanking (removal of clothing is optional at this point, and at own discretion).

She sounds a bit the jealous type and is probably over reacting. You deserve an explanation at the very least.

It could have also been the pornographic nudie pics I sent you....my bad.

    Only about 6 weeks.
She told me she loved me a couple of weeks ago though. She was even talking about moving in with me up here in Seoul. It felt pretty serious. Maybe she's just over-reacting and will calm down after a few days or so.

He he! I wondered if there were any dodgy pics on my phone, but I'm certain there aren't. Only one of her naked - which she knew about already and consented to.
As far as getting an explanation from her - she's not answering her phone now, and hasn't responded to a few e-mails I've sent her.
I'm gonna give it one more try this weekend and then let it go. But I'm gutted - she's gorgeous. - http://a369.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/18/l_199d25af359c74dc105414fa4cbb09f0.jpg

is it bothering you at all that she read your personal messages?
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream

Not really. I mean, I think I'd do the same. It's kind of normal, right? We're all a bit nosy, aren't we.

I should definitely have done that before. I won't be making that mistake again.

Yeah, she seems like she overreacts

Moving in after 6 weeks ?

I think her emotions get the best of her

She's probably just in a mood. She's a cutie, I was hoping for the naked pic though... heh

    She'll come around.

23 year olds can be a tad flighty steve. if you sit down with her and show her WHEN these messages are from she, will either be reasonable and accept that or be unreasonable and not. if she can't accept your explanation on this, what else would she be unreasonable about, you know?

She's 23, said she loves you, wants to move in and reads your messages?

    Fucking run!!!

I'm totally not cool with reading messages and I'm more than nine years into a relationship. Six weeks??? See ya.

It's a matter of trust. If I want somebody to know about my conversations I'll tell them about it.

Keep your email inbox clean too.

My ex was as dumb as a brick, but she was obsessive compulsive and if she wanted to read my email she would. I don't know how but she cracked my password which was 10 characters long, alphanumeric. Either that, or I forgot to log-out before going to work that day....

I did think it was odd that she found my Myspace address before I gave it to her - but then I suppose there aren't that many people called Byrnzie.

I'd love to be able to reason it out with her in person, but she lives a two hour bus ride away, and even though I've explained myself to her by e-mail, she's not responded and won't answer her phone. Ah well...so it goes.

Yea, it's scarey, I have a lot of profiles online, almost all under the name Animus or Ahnimus. I should have a dig-up dirt on Ahnimus thread. Maybe I'll meet my next girlfriend on AshleyMadison.com to ensure her secrets are darker than mine.

well steve if you really wanted her in your life you'd take that 2 hour busride. if only so you'd know you tried it all and it was her who wouldn't come to the party. but if you feel it's be a wasted trip then forget about her. sometimes chicks are more trouble than they're worth.

I thought about that. She's a singer in a hotel. I thought about just going down there anyway and seeing her this weekend. I don't want to look like a stalker though - I mean, how do you think she'd react if I just turned up? Maybe I'll go...I dunno.

  • Wow. She sounds nuttier than squirrel shit, dude. This may be a blessing in disguise. Think about what could happen if she did move in and found your porn stash or old letters. She obviously has no concept of time considering she got all ruffled over messages sent to women before you got together. I just dont wanna read or hear about you getting sliced up by a katana sword (is that right?) for having Naughty Nurses still in the DVD player.
