really? an insecticide. i didnt know that. i want to say cool which is totally inappropriate and even more so considering a convo i had with someone late last week, who was off their dial on coke. besides if it doesnt kill you, it makes you very unattractive. and who wants that?

Also, the word gullible is not in the dictionary.

I'm sure I could find a .org site proving it.

I can also find major news media that say people are sniffing shit to get high.

It's not outside the realm of possibility, but it's also not fact because Trixie says so, or even because Fox or CNN say so.

an interesting fact is the high levels of pesticide and insecticide residues found in cola in India.

i'm sure we don't have that problem over here...

Jennifer Keelan is an assistant professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Toronto

Clifford Orwin is professor of Political Science, fellow of St. Michael's College, director of the Program in Political Philosophy and International Affairs at the University of Toronto, and distinguished visiting fellow of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.

Mark Federman is a researcher at the Ontario Insitute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.

Stephen Turner is a political scientist at the University of South Florida.

They say wikipedia is good stuff, and studies have been performed on wikipedia. They would post non-sense and within an hour it would be removed by the administrators. Similarly a studies was performed where they gave a complete bullshit lecture at a university and everyone attending believed it, simply because it had the trappings of professionalism and authority. It's really an interesting talk.

its okay ryan. obviously tis all about professor preference. my university says dont do it. so i dont do it. my opinion does not come into it. in fact my first preference for research is for hard copy. i need books or journals, in my hand. for me, personally the internet is a last resort. and yes i have referenced on the net.

So, here is what you do.

Let's say, something totally random, you need to write a paper on the esophageal sphincter and it's function.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esophageal_sphincter

The cardia (or esophagogastric junction[1][2] or gastroesophageal junction[3][4][5][6]) is the anatomical term for the junction orifice of the stomach and the esophagus. At the cardia, the mucosa of the esophagus transitions into gastric mucosa.

The cardia is also the site of the lower esophageal sphincter (LES)[7][8][9] (also termed cardiac sphincter[10], gastroesophageal sphincter[11], and esophageal sphincter[12]).

Look at these numbers in square brackets. Click on them.

Anyway, when you use theonion or something as a source, they don't state their sources and you are stuck with just taking their statements at face value. Whereas, I like a source that provides a route to the original papers. You can follow wikipedia to it's .edu sources then read their sources and their sources, etc... until you are satisfied with it. If you need to analyze correlation coefficients then you can do that starting at wikipedia.
