i've never heard of that, but you'll have to let me know how it was.

We shoot on location there tomorrow...I'm hoping that we get to try some items off the menu.

If not, we'll go back for lunch later this week.

I just joined the Sushi Bandwagon. I tried it 10 years ago and spit it out. Now I like it. I was the same way with Tequila.

Wasn't wasabi, It was something reddish inside the roll.

Otherwise I'd get you out for sushi with me and the wife. Shame, it'd be fun.

i took a friend out for sushi this weekend. it took me about a year to convince him to go with me, but he loved it. of course, his rolls were cooked, but he still liked it. he was grossed out by my seared ahi tuna (tuna tataki), but he likes his steaks medium rare....i told him, it's the same thing. i also told him that it's not fishy and it doesn't taste like cooked tuna. i couldn't get him to try it, but maybe next time. he really liked what he ate and wants to go back! yay for sushi!!

Sorry, not for me. Visited friends in LA and visited there favourite Sushi restaurant. Couldn't understand why we were paying such good money for raw fish.

Luckily we went to some excellent restaurants for the rest of the visit.

  • i love sushi. arigato in santa barbara is great and so is pink godzilla in santa cruz.
  • I've got a hospital appointment in a couple of weeks, but me and the other half are going for sushi in London for lunch that day, which makes up for it.

I can't wait. Sushi rocks my world.
