But getting Beckett and Lowell for Hanley Ramirez is one of those rare trades that helps both teams.
and not only that, when the marlins can't afford to re-sign ramirez in a few years, the red sox can make a run at getting him back.

This is just me, but why isn't Oki up in the bullpen. In Boston it will be all hands on deck all weekend and if it comes to Game 7 and Dice K is struggling, wouldn't we want Beckett available for two or three innings?
If it stays 3 runs, we should bring in Oki.
More than that, bring in Timlin.
But most important, get Beckett out of the game right now. He's at 95 pitches. Why keep him in any longer?
