I'm so excited!!! alas no gray sightings but still happy to see couture back and looking great.

    sorry, no gray. :(

wheh good first round. I think I give it very slightly to lesnar but randy is hanging in
  • holy shit!!! brock is the HW champ! yamasaki definitely gave randy a fair chance to recover, but he was badly hurt. i'm in shock...

hmmm, too bad for randy. I'm sorry but I just don't have much respect for brock lesnar as a fighter. he's way too inexperienced to be a title holder. at least he's humble and gives randy the respect he deserves.

Ugh, terrible performance on my part in the fantasy league. :(

    Yay Gurgel!

yeah, he was respectful after the fight. he's got a lot to learn, which is a scary thing! seemed surreal when he was wearing the belt.

gurgel vs. riley now...that's every fight but one shown!
  • hey guys, sorry i wasn't here for the ppv, but i was really impressed tonight. Very glad to see Brock finish the fight and honestly i think it could have been stopped earlier than it was.
Highlight for me was Florian subbing joe, that was amazing and completely shocking to me.
Overall a much better card than i was expecting

edit: damn riley was impressive there, amazing stand-up and another huge surprise for me on the night... loved that fight, such insane kicks from both fighters

also congrats to mookie on the win tonight... I gladly hand the belt over...

    hey leaf (waves hi)

jeez, I'm sick of seeing jorge gurgel getting the bloody snot beat out of him.
  • maia! maia! maia!

i like nate, but that was a complete domination from the get go. i didn't think it would go down like that. quick!

like you said, complete domination... the second it went to the ground i told everybody the fight was over... only a matter of time

i hate to agree with rogan and goldberg :D but why jorge doesn't incorporate his ground game into the earlier parts of the fight is baffling.

rock 'em sock 'em for three rounds. it never bodes well for jorge, although he is always game and shows great heart. it doesn't win fights for him though.

bocek vs. robinson! the whole show!!! :):):)

WOW beautiful jiu jitsu from Hazelett!!

definitely sub of the night potential

no way this is not sub of the night... what i wouldn't give to see hazelett/maia fight

wow, we get robinson and bocek. okay officially worth the money for the ppv tonight.

i dunno, i thought lesnar won the 1st round fairly convincingly. Thought it was amazing when randy got back up those couple times from being on bottom and i went nuts when he got on top of brock for that little bit but i did not see any way that i could give that round to randy

ya man i agree with you on that. he needs to incorporate his ground game in order to win these fights. On the bright side, he always puts on a great show and i'm sure the ufc will be glad to have him back many more times

ah ok leafs. sorry I misunderstood. :)

great fight here with bocek and robinson. fabulous night of fights!!!!
  • amazing fight for bocek... domination.
like i said earlier, didn't help my fantasy score but i am so happy with that outcome, bocek really needed that win.

well my worries were taken care of and that card was more than worth my money... thank you ufc for showing all 9 fights and i don't think i saw 1 bad fight out all those 9

Stephens takes the KO of the night not surprisingly
Sub of the night goes to Hazelett like we though, absolutely amazing sub on his part
and they didn't announce fight of the night. hmm give it to riley/gurgel maybe? not really sure who that one will go to

  • that was actually better than the review i read. great fight. the sweep that mark got in the first round was gorgeous. the second round was constant sub attempts from bocek and all defense from alvin. i really enjoyed that one, bocek wore on him and finally got the finish he was looking for the whole fight.

awesome night of fights! i only feel bad for randy. :( still, it was an entertaining main event for sure. plus the WHOLE card and only one went to decision! just an awesome show!

probably should go to gurgel and riley, i would think? personally, i enjoyed most of the other fights more, but they did put on a good battle for the fans there. i suppose i would go with that one.
