    yea...maybe...
but believe it or not i miss those days sometimes.

lol, hey, if I didn't miss those days at times, I wouldn't be interested in having a second baby...which I am. :D It can be very hard at the time, but I have so many fond memories of cuddling that warm little lump. :) I like her even better as a 2 yr old, though. :D
  • Those girls are idiots. I don't really see why they are blaming the guys... did they know about it? Seems like they used them to get pregnant.

Yeah, they'll rather blame the horny little boys and their parents. Give me a fucking break...

Just like school shootings, they always try to point fingers at the wrong people.

well it takes two to tango...teenage girls are as horny as teenage boys. But yes people always need to lay the fault somewhere.

    Just throwin this out there...

Do you think this movie had anything to do with it?

(No, I am not saying the movie should be blamed for someone's stupidity)
When the Wizard of Oz came out, did it inspire people to skip down yellow brick roads with midgets, or throw water at ugly old people to see if they'll melt?

also....if the boys are under 17 as well, aren't the girls guilty of statutory rape too????? that's how I see it. Too bad, so sad...you're pregnant AND convicted of statutory rape. Live with it. You made an adult decision, deal with the adult consequences
believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

No doubt, these girls are making a pretty stupid decision. But, they can't get pregnant by themselves. The boys are idiots for agreeing to have sex without protection. No one twisted their arms. Even if they didn't know the plans of these girls and the girls told them they were on the pill, thats not gonna protect them from STD's and these days, there's just NO excuse for having unprotected sex. The boys are just as responsible, whether they like or not.

...and when a boy tells a girl he's wearing a condom but he's not and gets her pregnant she's just as responsible for getting pregnant as well... right?

There was a 22-year-old girl I used to work with who quit her job about a month ago so she can go on welfare. She's pregnant too.

I don't think you can buy baby clothes with foodstamps.
can you really love a baby via a childminder either?

I think we are looking at this from such vastly differing perspectives that we aren't going to see eye to eye. But I just don't think it's fair to place all of the blame for this on the kids -- especially the ones younger than 16.
I agree... I think when you're that age there's something romantic about being a mother.

The news on this today is that Main Stream media just reported a rumor (big surprise). The only person to say it was a pact between the girls was the principal and he doesn't know where he heard it. No one else knows anything about this. It makes for a good story so let's run with it. And they wonder why noone pays attention to the media, it's all just gossip nowadays.

Its people like them that ruin the tax system.
    ...
Forget about the Tax System... I'm more worried about them polluting the gene pool.

Follow any of these kids home... and best guess estimate is you will find a parent who will blame the School... The 'Media' (i.e. 'Juno')... The Internet. Take yer pick.

    inferiority complex?

And no, we are not ALL Einsteins. Just the majority of us. :)

Lets try to remember they are kids, not pathetic whores.

You people are a lot harsher than I would have ever thought. "lets throw the whores of bastard children in jail with the scumbag fathers for making bad decisions. Live with it you little shits".

They are children. Yes, 14, 15, 16....children. Help em out. God damn...

Read somewhere that the "pact" happened before the film was out.

This is so very sad...seems these girls are crying out for attention. They have no idea what they just signed on for...

Well... reality is going to jump up an bite them in the ass. At least some good will come from this... it is a perfect example for other parents to point to when talking to their kids about birth control.

    strong parenting going on here!

Maybe it's Kid Rocks fault, I saw he's telling his fan's to steal from Microsoft, and Apple, didn't watch the whole thing, but maybe he's telling girls to get pregnant and raise their children together commun style.

That... and talk about bowing to peer pressure. Couldn't these kids come up with a pact about quit listening to Kid Rock music or something?
