    wow people are idiots at times....Alright if you get pregnant at a young age...deal with it and etc...but to have a "Pact" is just stupid and irresponsible...Wow...I sound like I really am 32 years old...frig I've done stupid things in my life...like alot...drugs,jail, whatever.. etc...but wow...this is just soo stupid..

    You should be hating on their parents, though. Teenagers are irresponsible, reckless, stupid at times and almost always shortsighted. The fact that they were inspired to *choose* to get pregnant is a result of neglectful and/or bad parenting.

    That's a slap to the face of all the good parents out there, especially the hard working single parents. My mother was one of them, I messed up and now I'm taking the blame. She did everything she could. I'm sure there's thousands of parents like that.

    Bad parenting often plays a part but not always. My girlfriends younger brother is living proof that good parents do not always have good kids.

    There are millions of parents that bust their asses to make a good life for their kids. But something has gone horribly wrong when a child chooses to get pregnant. No child with a healthy home life is going to make that choice.

    I know from personal experience that this is true. My older brother has fucked up in just about every possible way.

    But when you're looking at the nature of this situation...I would be utterly shocked if any one of these girls had everything they needed at home. This isn't just "being bad" or "making a few mistakes".

    Kids spent majority of their days in school with their peers and regardless of what principles and ideas a parent tells them, they will mostly likely follow their peers because they spend so much time with them.

    I was one of those people who always blame parents first but once I grew up I realized it was me who fucked up not my mother. I was the one who choose to follow my peers ideas over my mother. I was stupid and careless.

    Sorry to be an asshole but it's the kids today that are fucking things up.

    It's not kids that are fucking things up. Do you think that there's just an increase in the amount of bad kids being born, and they're running rampant and fucking up the world? :D How did they get that way?

    Kids influencing each other are the blind leading the blind...which is why it's important that their parents are ultimately the ones steering the ship.

    Yes, kids make stupid mistakes and rebel and it is not always a reflection of their parents. As I mentioned, my brother is a prime example of this. We were both raised by the same parents, but our lives have played out in such drastically different ways that you wouldn't believe it. But making a pact to have a child is so far beyond an act of rebellion. I think it's likely that it speaks to what they are lacking in their individual parent-child relationships.

    If these girls were getting the parental guidance they needed, they'd be running around smoking dope during lunch rather than doing everything they can to get knocked up. ;)

    I didn't say the world. I meant themselves.

    They get that way for being stubborn and arrogant and careless. I have no feeling for these girls, they fucked on their own terms and deserves to lose three/four years of their teenage life. They're adult now and I hope they're happy. They got what they wanted, and I happy for them.

    A big fucking burden of their parents to deal with.

    On second thought, maybe not, there's a rapid trend of grand parent taking care of their grandkids because of these careless fucking teens.

    I think we are looking at this from such vastly differing perspectives that we aren't going to see eye to eye. But I just don't think it's fair to place all of the blame for this on the kids -- especially the ones younger than 16.
