    Because they are (no mather what you all say) the most creative, versatile, unique(you might say theyre not original but I have never seen anyone sound like them(and ive seen alot of nirvana rip offs(good ones))), humilde, outspoken(in a good way), generous, credible, talented, oh and amazing guitarrist, outstanding drummer, and the best vocalist/lyricist/songwriter of ALL FUCKING TIME.....................

    agreed.. a stupid girl broke up with me when i was a senior in highschool (ya i know.. wah wah) but RVM became my anthem..... I had a tough time in college with some stuff but i got through it and In Hiding became my anthem....

    That sounds right to me. PJ songs have pretty much provided the soundtrack to my life since I was 15. Certain songs from Ten through Vitalogy bring back strong memories for me.

    For me, it was Small Town. To this day, it reminds me of the same girl- and that was 13 years ago.

    Ten made me believe real musicians still existed. VS. was all of my anger set to music. Vitalogy kept me sane during my parent's divorce. No Code was perfect for my new relationship. Yield was the brilliance I was in need of when the relationship ended. Riot Act the perfect album for my insane spur of the moment road trip.
