They are a band I never grow tired of. I can listen to another band for a few hours and be bored of them, yet I have been listening to PJ for about 2 years everyday and never get tired of it.

I've never really thought of it this way, but this is very true for me also.......I never get tired of listening to their stuff, live or studio, there is just so much depth to their music and they seem like such genuinely nice people which makes me like them even more

When I heard Release open at last, at MSGII, I felt such euphoria........no other band can do that for me They are truly awesome

pearl jam is the best? best at what? they play music and its an art form, right? so how can a work of art be the best? its all subjective . . .

perhaps the thread should be: Pearl Jam is your "favorite band" because . . . to say "the best" just sounds so over the top, circus-like, dare i say like the rolling stones, who used to boast and promote themselves as the greatest rock'n'roll band in the world, yuck.
