    Well it looks like Hal gill is not becoming a flyer. just was traded to Nashville.

    INJURY UPDATE: Flyers GM Paul Holmgren announced that Tom Sestito will have surgery to repair torn groin muscle on Tue., Feb. 21. He will be out for 6-8 weeks.

    how does getting punched in the face tear a groin? or did i miss a shift post fight...last i saw of him, he was headed to the locker room after getting dropped.

    I believe he tore it on the way down to the ice after the punch. He was beating Kassian pretty soundly until he caught him with that left.

    Goaltending isnt the main issue. Its the dreadful defense in front of the goaltenders as well as lackadaisical coverage from the forwards.

    I'm fully expecting a goaltender trade to happen as well.

    Flyers have addressed lack of physical toughness on defense with these two trades.
