I do love Philly for the sports, and living here is much better than LA from that standpoint. (Although I hate not being able to go to USC games at the Colly and Kings games at Staples.) One thing you can never say about fans in Philly is they have any apathy. Can they get carried away? Yes. Is it anti-family environment? Yes. (I have seen some horrid shit in stands here at all 4 major sports events. I thought LA was bad but it is not even in the same conversation in general.) Is it fun? Yes. Hell yes, especially if they are not playing one of my favorite teams so that I can root with the home team. Do the fans care? Ohhhhh yes, yes they certainly do. Are the venues easy to get in/out of? Yes. Are the tickets crazy expensive? No, not next to NY. Can I enjoy talking sports at every party, event, line at a store, etc? Yep, the fans here love their sports and know their sports.
The Flyers need a better captain, imo. How can it be that your captain says he was tentative and scared to get er going
not really. they should be #3-5 in the Metro... The Sabres are so bad, thats what Im concentrating on. Plus the picks of St Louis and Islanders are Sabres' property so I have a lot of rooting interest, but looking at the standings in reverse.

Eichel is #2 and he is supposed to be a stud as well. Even #3 Hanifin would be a #1 many years.
