so the Flyers called me today. i asked if they were calling to hook me up with some stanley cup tickets.

the guy was like sure....just gotta get thru a few rounds. i . told him no way it was happening and that the goaltending stinks. he kept trying to argue that Bobby Bouche was the answer

if you would like to call him, pm for his phone number.

Oh well... at least we might have a good draft pick...oh wait we don't have a 1st round pick !!!!

    http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/201 ... weeks.html

Jeff Carter, the Flyers' leading scorer with 33 goals, will miss three to four weeks due to a broken bone in his left ankle, the team said Monday.

Carter suffered the injury in the first period of Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Atlanta Thrashers.

Give the team credit I guess in some aspect...losing your starting goalie and then losing your backup and now your backup to your backup which brings you back to your backup :x

Ironically the goaltending hasn't been horrible this year... yeah he let in a softie last night but its mainly been the inconsistent scoring and effort

We lost a good man if he was a Flyers fan :D

We need some slackers to step up !

I saw Carter's interview last night in the locker room and behind him on a couple of white boards were the standings...this team should not know where they are in the standings because they dont show up when they know they have a cushion..keep them in the dark !!!

and Toronto jobs the flyers again on a no goal call.

don't often see simon get pissed, but i don't think he liked being boarded. i kept waiting for the goalie fight, but alas, it did not come.

    WTF DID I JUST WATCH?!?!?!?

Im the last one to complain about officiating but....WORSE CALLED GAME I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!

An illegal hit leading to a goal and then a 7 Minute PP?!?!?!?!?

Kudos to you Gagne for sticking up for yourself while your teammates watched with their thumb up their asses

This was the first game all year where I really lost it watching the game..HOLY FUCK!

Can we hit the net with some shots and not make every goalie look like a FUCKIN STUD!!!

McCreary's last year in the league THANKFULLY but that young guy tonight was absolutely ATROCIOUS!!

the refs didn't bother me so much, as the lack of quality scoring chances did. seems to be a recurring theme lately.

i'm more worried about the offense than goaltending right now. it's going back into the crapper. when was the last time they had a PP goal?

I can't wait for this season to be over so I don't have to watch this team any more. They stink.

They will never compete for the cup with carter, briere, and hartnell as 3 of their top 6 forwards. If that carter for carey price trade really was on the table they should have done it. carter is one dimensional (good shot) and he disappears for long stretches. You can't have your 2nd best player (arguably) do that. I'm not a big fan of his.

add Carcillo to that list. there is zero reason for him being on any line.

I think he's been one of their best forwards this year. I don't think he's a great player by any means, but he serves a purpose. My first statement also tells you what I think about the rest of the forwards

Carcillo is a 4th line player at best. no way he should be on the Richards/Gags line.

he has rocks for hands and brains and can't skate for shit.

i'd rather see JVR on that line...or Danny boy, or even asham.

he's definitely not worthy of having a role on a scoring line. No argument there. Their forwards blow, except for richards. Richards, Pronger, Parent, and Timonen are the only guys I like on this team.

I hate rooting for this team...I can't wait for baseball to start
