i'd prefer they didn't give up soft goals and late goals and win the game 4-1 like they should have :x

while the first period sucked for us last night, i still think this team can make it to the finals this year. Ilya i still think is going to turn it around. he did make some nice saves in teh 3rd period.

my prediction of Jagr being a 70 point player seems like it might work out. the downside was that i didn't hear Biere or JVR name alot yesterday.

if they get back on track i can see a great team. still believe that we have the deepest team in the NHL.

I didn't see all of the game but Briere may have gotten dinged up. JVR did make a goal saving back check play on Stafford. A Flyer leading the league in scoring? Giroux is amazing.
    Alright, alright, alright!

That would've been nice but that OT goal was thrilling. I could watch that a million times. 8-)

2 of Bryz's goals were terrible, and two he could do nothing about. Miller wasn't all that great either - Jagr made him look silly on that dipsy-doo slap shot.

When it was 3-0 I was angry but nowhere near ready to give up on the game. That's a good feeling.

Let's see if we can win a home game tonight.

Danny got crunched or something...i don't think what happened was shown. He stayed on the bench, but wasn't taking shifts. That said, even when on the ice, he seems pretty invisible this year.

JVR is just coming back from an injury (sounded like a hand issue) but had a few solid shots, i didn't think he looked bad.

Scotty sure has turned his season around since joining the top line. he's a good fit for that line....

i was thinking...what about playing 93 at center. he has excellent speed and handles the puck well.

i don't think i agree with that...maybe deepest blue line when pronger and the other old dude get back...

for the forwards, you have the top line dominating the scoring....if Jagr or Cluade go down, we are in deep shit. the top line accounts for 40% of scoring....more if you factor in goals scored by other players when playing with Jagr and Claude

i'd like to see scoring balance out a little bit more, and i would defiantly like to see the ice time balanced out a bit more. Claude is playing blue line minutes, he played the 3rd most minutes last night. you can't do that all year long and expect him to be fresh for a playoff run. they need to roll the 4th line a little more.

Top line, which includes perhaps the best player in the league, scoring 40% of the goals isn't that excessive. Even if all four lines played, top line would play 25% of the time, so 40% of the goals isn't all that much.

Boston's top three goal scorers come in at 38%. Based on yahoo's line set up, the top line is at 25.5%

Vancouvers top three goal scorers are at 33.7%, top line is at 29.2%.

Philly top three goal scorers are 42%, top line 39.7%

trust me, i'm not complaining about the results of the top line, i'd just like to see the other lines produce a little more, and i'd like to see the 4th line on the ice a little more.

on the flip side of balance, we had a very deep balanced team last year that fizzled out in the playoffs, so maybe have a single dominiating line is the way to go.
