The goalies haven't played well, but they are the least of the problems.

I felt like I was watching an all star game tonight. I think I saw one hit. THis team just isn't physical enough. simmonds, hartnell, coburn (sometimes), pronger. those are the only guys that hit. shelly and rinaldo dont' count since they play 5 minutes a game.

they are a bitch team. I think they will have to make a trade to bring in some kind of physical presence (out of the back line or top 9 forwards). I think the last two nights might make people realize what a beast richards was.

fucking A this baseball game is incredible. one of the best I've ever seen

    crazy game

Flyers can't win these goofy games.

i forget who it was last year, but it was like 8-7 or something and the flyers lost. (tampa, or maybe florida)

There's been so much focus on the Philadelphia Flyers' side of the Winter Classic alumni game — Eric Lindros and a potential Legion of Doom reunion, the possibility of Bobby Clarke and other Bullies in the game

Bobby and Lindros on the same team? We could get our first winter classic fight.

The way the team looks riht now reminds when Lavy first took over

Everyone was lost at out there with the new system he wanted them to play

It's not surprising I guess with all the new faces and goalie

    Growing Pains

    Day-to-Day

I think they need just one more piece for this team to be really great

That of course is based off of what I have seen so far..if JVR steps up and Simmonds starts back on his game they might be ok as is

they aren't physical enough. reminds me of the team before they brought laperriere in.

pronger, hartnell, simmonds are the only guys that hit. shelly and rinaldo don't count since they play 5 mins a game.

they have to get tougher. they're a bitch team. too easy to play against. pjhawks must love them

the games changed quite a bit the last few years ... hitting is a two-headed monster ... guys who hit also often get hurt ... and with guys not protecting themselves these days ... you can be down 5 games in a blink of an eye ...

this team just needs to jel and iron out their system and try and be healthy for the playoffs ... i think what the team really needs is another anchor on D ... they are a different team without Pronger in the lineup

Fixer wants the Broad Street Bullies back because he thinks fighting is still such an integral part of the game :D it's all about pronger, timonen and giroux being healthy come playoff time. and really like bryzgalov even with a few subpar efforts. i think he will be more than fine this year. big upgrade for sure.
