Ledbetterman10 wrote:yeah there wasn't a set-up this time. but here's something interesting from "The Gotham Times," which was one of the websites set up in the Dark Knight viral marketing campaign, that may shed a little light on the next film.
This is from Gotham Times Issue #2: Letters to the Editor
"Dent Cannot Be Believed"
So now Assistant District Attorney Harvey Dent pretends to turn upside-down the city, speaking of truth, justice and so on. Should we believe him? I think not. The more he's posing as a man of justice, the more it means he is corrupted like every powerful man in the city.
Right now Dent seems different from the others, but that is only part of the game, so he can get power by the fools who support him. A man who comes in the darkest moments to save the situation exists only in fables; in real life, people like that have always had other (bad) intentions.

Edward Nashton is Riddler's birth name.
i think a movie with alot of riddler and a very little 2 face could work well for the next one... just go the complete opposite direction of what they did with their relationship in "batman forever"0 -

Although earlier it was said that the Connor character would be more of a supporting role, but the trailer focused on him so who knows.0 -

should be cool if T4 can revitalize the series the way "batman begins" did for batman... i always wished they would focus more on the apocalyptic time period and less on stupid prepubescent john connor
bale can make anything good so im pumped for this0 -

and the Watchmen trailer was bad ass.0 -

A lot of the revamped series were a breath of fresh air.
Speaking of, new 007 in November, woot!
And a Top Gun sequel in the works with Tom...
top gun?!? fuck that... no one wants to see tom cruise playing shirtless volleyball now... that will be as bad as "lost boys 2" or the remake MTV is doing of "the rocky horror picture show"0 -

I believe he has only said that he would like to... I've not seen anything that proves he has actually signed on for another film.My Pearl Jam Photos

I don't know about the next villain, I think the main point of the Riddler would be too much what the Joker touched on, such as giving out clues to who he was going to kill next.
And I hope two face doesn't come back. He was cool, but it was starting to get annoying when he was about to kill someone....

I think those sites are pretty good as far as correlating to the film. Bruce noting Harvey's "I Believe in Harvey Dent" slogan during the film is one instance.
I agree it would be probably the opposite of Batman Forever. I can see Riddler (just going on that Gotham Times thing) to have it in for Two-Face. Could make for a nice hate triangle between Two-Face/Riddler/BatmanSoonForgotten2 wrote:I believe he has only said that he would like to... I think you're right. Here's the article I was citing:

Well, it's now the number 3 box office movie in American History and should pass Star Wars this week. It's been out less than a month and has pulled in 441 million. Though it still has a long way to go to catch Titanic at 600 million.- Busted down the pretext

this movie sucked !!! 2 1/2 hours wasted
way over-hyped0 -
just saw it again and i thought of this awhile ago but seeing it again makes me wonder if batgirl will be in the next movie. they never really show gordons daughter, and she was there when batman decided he would be a villian to save gotham. so in the next movie it could make sense that she would take up the helm. gotham will still need a hero, harvey is either dead or two-face, and batman is gonna be hunted by the police.0

I think catwoman will be in it. As people before have said, there is no female lead and also Lucius Fox said something along the lines of Bruce Wayne's new suit 'being tough enough to withstand a scratch from a cat.'Happiness is only real when shared0 -
