And for the people around you to drink the same amount, so they can't remind you or tell anyone else.Nashville-00

Was just thinking about this lately because of a "re" broken nose
Last week one of the kids was bending over to pick somethhing up
I was leaning down as he stood up and SMASHED his forehead into my nose ouch!
Well, it cracked so loudly that I knew it was broken
Re-broken...and despite all the clots and a black and swollen eye for a few days, I'm actually glad it happened
because it is now straight for the first time in decades!
It happened originally years and years ago
I was DRUNK! And some other things..but I think the drunk contributed most to this
It was Halloween - and for us, a party out in the woods at the end of town
We all dressed up in costumes and were walking past the barge locks at the canal end
I was dressed as a witch, as creative as I am
a LONG black skirt, and as I said, wobbly to say the least.
we crossed the street to the other side where the lock was, dry at the time
I tripped over my dress coming up on the curb
After that I'm not really sure what happened,
someone else maybe tripped and sort of gave me a push ?? i have no idea
but i ended up tumbling over the concrete barrier at the other side of the sidewalk
and down into the dry lock ...probably about 10 feet or so
Landed on my face!
I have to say that I felt fine, laughed and laughed..we all did
No pain...really, none
Climbed back out with some help
Went to the party in the woods
Drank some more, and some other things
And had one great time
Woke up at my friend's house in the morning
With my face swollen, blackened and hurting like hell..throbbing, I"ll never forget it
Ended up at the Doc, xray taken, broken nose and broken cheekbone
Ever since then I've had terrific sinus pain whenever I get the slightest cold..ughh
SO ... now its re-broken, it appears to have been straightened at last
