Hmm... I'm not sure... but her daughter has one too... which is how we met. I met him through his sister who I met in Verona

what the DEVIL?! I was not aware of this. Did you meet the sister randomly? or did you know her from here first THEN met in person in verona? tell me EVERYTHING.

well Verona had one of the biggest and best meetups of the 2006 tour. I met 'evolutionary' (from the board) and his girlfriend who we'll call J (she doesn't post here) and we got on... I met them again in London last year and we stayed in touch on facebook. Pinon had invited a few people to her house in Oslo, Norway. I, with Pin's permission, invited them. J told us her brother had broken his collarbone and was feeling sorry for himself and was wondering if he could come too... Pin said yes... he came along and the first night we hit it off. And that's about it

probably not! He didn't know much about them but has since started to get into them and listens to them a good bit and 110% supports me if I want to go see them or whatever cos he knows how big a part of my life it is

absolutely... and one of the few things that I considered to be essential in a guy! See, he'd such a great time in Norway, at a meet up, and saw how it is first hand so he thinks it's fantastic!

and yeh, it was quite an odd situation... I didn't go there with any intentions or even really wanting anything like that to happen

The step-dad actually only said two words to me over the entire ten days I was there. Maggie brought me over to him, and said "This is Alan, my boyfriend from Ireland." He stood up, looked at me like he was going to kill me, extended a hand, and said "Oh, really?" And I ended up having dinner with her grandma, who laid a guilt trip on me about how she's never going to see her first granddaughter again.

IMPORTANT NOTE: don't imagine grandparents in their underwear. *shudders*

Definitely... originally it was just me going to visit my friend and then suddenly it turned into a meet up and then suddenly I have a boyfriend and I'm meeting his parents :eek:
