Yep, I have some great friends here often when I start a thread I'm thinking :eek: then I look back on it and wonder what the big deal was

And thank you... How does it work the other way around? Do parents get nervous meeting their sons girlfriend?

I only do it in situations where I know people can take it... even when drunk I know that slagging the bf's parents is probably not a good idea

Thank you Allie I've been so looking forward to this weekend... and when he told me that not just his dad but his mother are going too I pretty much went hysterical laughing I guess its kinda like a job interview... except I'll have to be a little bit more myself than I would It's just getting the balance right I spose I'm sure it will be fine. His sister said I've nothing to worry about.

Yep, I think the fact that he's looking forward to it says a lot also. I'm not worried about the drink... he gets drunk with his dad, I'm sure his mother drinks, but I'll try and find a light beer perhaps

It is pretty exciting... I just wish it were over and done with
