We have Tuukka which will be our #1 goalie for a long long time. Then we have 4 other goalies between Boston and Providence that would be back-ups on almost every other team. Sucks that it will be a about 5 mil cap hit but Chiarelli is taking the right stance on this. Adios TT, thanks for the trophy and don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

I have been going to a lot of Niagara Icedogs games lately. Dougie Hamilton is the real deal (thanks a lot Brian Burke).

The guy does everything well and you can see him hitting his stride more and more and standing out every game. Even on the small ice surface at Jack Gatecliff Arena. He won the OHL's most outstanding defenseman (just announced).

It gives me diarreah thinking about the Sabres facing him for the next 15 years or so.

scored in double OT last night in Game 1 of the OHL Finals against London. Topped it off with a great celebration.

Will we see any games before New Year's?

Looks like more college games this year, I hope the University of New Hampshire is better than they were last year.

I dunno. I dont think the players can sustain another significant work stoppage. The owners have them by the balls and they know it.

    That would be cool.

On another note: anyone else hope Jordan Caron heals more quickly? I've had enough of the Chris Bourque experiment.

Funny, I think Bourque has played pretty damn well.

His +/- would be a hell of a lot better if Perverly could actually score on a breakaway ... has anyone ever been worse on a breakaway than Pevs? :fp:

I don't think he's added anything even strength and has only been okay on the power play.

    Good win tonight vs. Ottawa
