OK, a new prospective: I hope the Brewers win the NL pennant so the Red Sox can get an easy sweep in the World Series. :D

Don't underestimate us! Sabathia, Braun, Fielder, Hardy? We've got amazing talent on our team, and such potential! I'm not counting the Crew out yet.
  • I don't care what happens, we made the playoffs. :D

  • I love that the whole team stood on the field in front of the dugout and watched the end of the Met Meltdown. they could have hung out in the clubgouse and watched, but the watched it with the fans. Very cool. I doubt he'll get it, but CC deserves the MVP. They're not even close to the playoffs without him. So, who does a Met fan root for? the team that passed them for the Division, or the team that passed them for the Wild Card?

went to the game today (the clincher)

    1. Miller Park is just beautiful. Lots of space, a nice feel to it, and clean

    2. glad to see a new face in the playoffs

    3. Cubs are still division champs with the best record in the league, don;t forget that

    4. CC is MVP, not Cy

My favorite part of this is that Phils fans are about to see their team play a Brewers team they swept in 4 games earlier this september, and they think this is going to be a joke. ONLY they didn't face either Yovani Gallardo or C.C. Sabathia, the Crew's two best pitchers. SOOOO...if we can sneak game one can you imagine the city of Philly having to deal with C.C. down 0-1 at home? I love watching the inevitable Philly fan implosion. Let's go Brewers. BTW I may or may not have sprained my ankle jumping off the couch when C.C. got the grounder in the 9th...haha what an idiot.

Again, all I'll say is get ready to get fucked.
  • Welcome Beer Makers, it's been a long time.

    Sincerely,

    The Postseason

Funny that Selig had to move you to the NL in order to make it in finally. ;)
No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.

Let's not forget forcing the hard charging Astros play the Cubs in Milwaukee in September....don't think Brewer fans didn't find that a bit shady.

Rollie and Robin would be proud.

I'm not a pack fan, but if CC keeps this rolling does he have a chance to reach Brett Favre status in Milwaukee now that Favre sold the pack out? Right now I put him at Majikowski status, but that's from an outsider.

CC wont be a Brewer next year so this is a mute point..he will never resign with that team

The Brewers haven't been in the playoffs since the Commodore 64 was released. :D

yovanni is named the starter for game 1 and no pitch count. he tired in the 4th last time, but, in my pitching experience (played college ball) stretching your arm out is literally a start or two long. hopefully he can give us six strong on Wednesday.

anyone else getting geared up for tomorrow? this is going to be fun, nothing to lose, and an unknown commidity to everyone but us going on the hill...they cannot even pronounce his name correctly on the television. seriously is guy-yard-o, and he is good.

I remember hating the TBS playoff coverage last year. Cubs got stuck with fucking Dick Stockton. I don't mind him calling football games, but he sucked doing baseball. So I'm sure Cubs will get him again. Fucking idiot messed up Sorianos name, Aramis and just sucked in general. Can't for the life of me remember who the color man was though.

alright kids, i teach tomorrow until 11, will go work out until 11.40, shower at 12, pull on my gallardo jersey at 12.02, get in my car at 12.05 and drive to philly to cheer him on! just got my tix 20 minutes ago. to philly fans, i understand you are supposed to beat us, and be tons better than the brewers, and have the nastiest attitude towards away fans, but when your team makes it once every twenty six years then you got to brave the elements and believe that your team can do it...go brewers. anyone else going to philly tomorrow or milwaukee this weekend?

who is Jen Lada? Comcast Sportsnet here in Philly had her on last night talking about the series - she looked pretty hot.

I'll be at the game today. I don't think you'll get a lot of flack from us Phillies' fans. We just really hate Mets', Braves', and Red Sox fans. :)

    Here's to a good series!
