What the hell is up with the Brew Crew lately? They've stumbled all the way to last place. They need to get some pitching. Hope they can turn things around...7/8/95, 6/26/98, 6/27/98, 8/17/98, 8/18/00, 8/20/00, 8/21/00, 10/8/00, 10/21/00, 6/16/03, 6/18/03, 6/21/03, 6/22/03, 6/24/03, 10/3/04, 9/11/05, 9/12/05, 9/13/05, 9/15/05, 9/16/05, 5/16/06, 5/17/06, 5/20/06, 6/24/06, 6/30/060

BIG SETH!!! Wow...too bad extra innings didn't carry the D-Backs feed for this one Mark Grace made word love to him last year when he came over to the Brewers. My friend and I still joke about that today, and we both agree that any game called by Mark Grace could be "must see" television.
Also you gotta love Braun pissing all over a Randy Johnson offering for a million foot homerun. The funny thing is I told my wife he was going to hit one after he struck out in the 3rd/4th, because he was put in a hole in that at bat on a terrible first pitch strike call. He stepped out of the box, and you could clearly see him say "Wow...that was not a fucking strike". After the K, Johnson said something like "something something young fucking punk".
Anyway, I didn't want to write anything to avoid a possiblee jinx, but that was a real big win for us.0 -

What a great sweep by the Crew!! Keep it going boys...7/8/95, 6/26/98, 6/27/98, 8/17/98, 8/18/00, 8/20/00, 8/21/00, 10/8/00, 10/21/00, 6/16/03, 6/18/03, 6/21/03, 6/22/03, 6/24/03, 10/3/04, 9/11/05, 9/12/05, 9/13/05, 9/15/05, 9/16/05, 5/16/06, 5/17/06, 5/20/06, 6/24/06, 6/30/060

Not a bad road trip...should have gone 4-2, but still we went even and this year it's a good thing to do that. Now 9 at home against the AL with our bats coming to life. Plus with injuries to Soriano, and Pujols, as well as everyone else in the NL sucking this is our opportunity. ESPN even has us ranked 6th or 8th in their statistical power rankings, so here's to hope. Please don't suck the life out of me Dave Bush.0

If anyone told you that the Brewers would feature Sheets, Bush, Suppan, McClung, and Parra as their starting 5 would you have thought that they would put together a 45 day stretch like this? When Gallardo went down, I thought we had little chance, but last I checked this team is good. Keep it up boys!0

3.5 games out of first a game behind the cards and a chance that C.C. could be here within days things are looking greatI never knew soap made you taller.0

My guess is Bush, but kinda think it should be Parra. Either way can you imagine a staff of Sheets, C.C., and (fingers crossed) Gallardo come late September? I hope this gets done.0 -
Finally we caught the freakin' Cards, and have played 6 less home games than roadies! Hopefully this charge is indicative of the rest of the season.0

ok let me get this straight we get C.C. and no love on this board?0

As a White Sox fan, I'm pumped about the C.C. trade on many levels. Get him outta the AL Central already, haha, and get him in the NL Central to wreck some havoc. This move turns the Brewers from maybe contenders into definite contenders. They're now possibly the team to beat in the whole NL, atleast them and the Cubs. C.C., Sheets and Parra in a 3 game series, yikes.
I think they gotta move McClung outta the rotation. Suppan has been struggling recently, but he'll move to the 5th spot and maybe trade starts every now and then with Seth. Bush has really come on as of late, and the fact that he's stayed in the rotation for this long already doesn't make me think that he's going anywhere.
I've read and seen on ESPN a few times now that people think the Crew gave up too much. I think that's complete BS. They have such a deep farm system, they could afford to lose a player like LaPorta for a chance at a deep playoff run this year. I'm looking for the Cubs to make a move here in the next few weeks too.He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.0 -

THANK YOU!!! I agree. Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?0 -
Pretty sure Brian Anderson said that Suppan went on the DL today, so they wont have to change the rotation for the time being. He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.0

That's why you build a farm system for deals like this.
THE FUTURE IS NOW!!!!
Watch out Chicago and St. Louis the Brew Crew are the real fucking deal.0 -
All you Brewers fans out there need to go to http://www.brewers.com and vote for Corey Hart to make the All-Star team. You can vote an unlimited amount of times.
As of last night he had a slight lead in the vote. We need to get him to New York, he deserves it!!!"you don't have to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring, besides that, they're fascist. Make em' hit groundballs, they're more democratic."

Not bad for his first night on the squad. Here's my take on the Cubs getting Harden and the Brewers getting Sabathia. Everyone on ESPN is talking about how awesome Harden is, and that he is better than CC, BUT when has he had a better season than CC? Additionally, Harden supposedly may have better stuff, but in the postseason he has been worse...remember he gave up the series changing HR to Trot in Game 3 of the 2003 ALDS. Essentially both of these trades probably get the Crew and Cubs to the postseason, but I believe it doesn't change too much between the two.0

Big week coming up.
