Ok...Now that Spring Training is about to get into full swing I've got to admit that I am super excited for the new season to start. I've got my Yovanni Gallardo (hopefully he's healthy and doesn't bust up his arm after knee surgery) and Carlos Villaneuva jerseys washed and ready for this year. I'm going to miss having that fat bastard behind the plate in exchange for Kendall, but still this could be a fun year.
If the Pitchers stay healthy this year and the starters can go deep into games I think we'll be decent. No Coco could hurt but he's no Mo Rivera or Papplebon so it wasn't worth dropping 40 mil on him, especially when we can get an ex-roider with a history of arm problems at the back .
All I really have to say is Fuck the Cubs, and hope the Goat curse stays alive.

There is nothing wrong with second place. In fact, I hope you guys pick up the wildcard!
Besides last time we played major league teams from the AL East we took 2 of 3 from the Yanks with a chance at the sweep (w/ Sheets going in game 3 and losing) so we'll see how it goes this year. The Cubs are certainly loaded, but they are the Cubs so a stinkbomb of a season where everyone gets injured could happen - and would bring me such joy. Honestly though the WC isn't out of the realm of possibilty considering the D'Backs made it through last year with smoke and mirrors (should have only won 79 games with their numbers), and no one else getting all that much better besides the Rox, and Mets.
Just messing with you. You may in fact be looking at a very successful season. Just don't get your hopes up against the Mets because your team will get their ass handed to them no doubt ..Otherwise, good luck..

161 TO GO. LOL
No thanks to your "big signing" Gagne. LOLzzz
Yup not liking him at all. But a win is a win.
same here.
hehehe
I'm not liking Gagne at all.
That was kind of a strange signing, but I think it's too early to tell what he can do this year. We shall see. Maybe he should up his steriod use a bit.
It's too bad we lost Cordero, but I think the Reds overpaid for him. Turnbow is good, but is pretty inconsistent. I wonder what Dan Plesac is up to these days...
Everytime I see Turnbow I wanna take his hat and bend it.
That drives me nuts. lol
I like our team.
Good to see you on here bud. I'm waiting for the last moment to get fitted for my tux. I'm dropping some pounds my friend. Dam it feels good.
gagne off the steroids=SHIT!!!!!
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
That's great. You doing a lot of hiking? I'm trying to get my ass in gear too. It would be nice to shed some weight before the big day!
It was nice watching the game here in Denver yesterday.
They play tomorrow?
I thought the world...Turns out the world thought me
Yeah, but it seems weird that they would start a series yesterday, have a day off and then continue the series tomorrow.
because the cubs suck. lol
Don't they have t.v. where you live? lol
