    It's been a while since I've listened. I find myself only checking out the shows where he interviews someone interesting. I don't bother with the rest. The show just isn't the same.

    Definitely not what it once was, but I still listen to every new show from front to back and absolutely love it. I don't know what to do with myself on the weeks when Howard is off.

    I used to be like that. For 16 years stern was always on. Remember when crazy crabby announced he had anal sex. Not only had it, but he was the catcher! I remember that being one of the funniest moments in entertainment history.

    Colbert interview was great...what I heard of it anyway. Gotta hear the rest at some point throughout the week.

    Really looking forward to his show. I've already grown tired of Fallon's act.

    Booey 100 was pretty good on Monday. So many great Gary songs.

    And I think we've had about enough of Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne....feels like they are on the show every 3 months.

    Seems like Artie and stuttering John are just trying to get themselves into the headlines. Of course Howard isn't the same asshole at 60 years old than he was back in the day. But for them to say the show is "PC" and trying not to be offensive anymore is pretty ridiculous.

    I doubt he'll retire. If he did leave SIrius, I'm sure he will go somewhere else. Saw some rumors about him going to Apple Music. Who knows.

    3 shows this week. Only 6 more left for the year.

    Wow, Apple Music? I've said before, I stopped being an everyday Stern listener once Artie left. I'd listen when shows looked good (I follow on Twitter)...I dropped Sirius a few weeks ago because I basically paid them to listen to PJ and I already have all the tunes. I now have Apple Music and am very happy with it.

    Stern's contract is up end of 2015, correct? If so he must only have 4 shows left, no way he just leaves

    I read that article yesterday. It's interesting how many people wish he was the same exact guy he was 30 years ago. The guy is 61 years old....he's not going to be the same asshole that he was when he was in his 30s. It's similar to the people who wish PJ were the same band they were in the 90s. People evolve.
