I do to....nothing against Artie but it seems like everyone is in a better mood without him but they don't want to admit it
Stern comes across callous and shallow not knowing anything about his co-worker. I thought they were Bro's? Artie was right when he did that rant about Howard never calling the guy outside the show. He threw him a birthday party--big deal. The guy worked with Howard for 9 years and Stern knows nothing nor seemingly cares to? I thought the Dina chick was spot on. If it were Robin, we'd have daily updates.
You could argue Stern is being respectful by not talking about him. He wouldn't be giving Robin updates if she didn't want him to."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -

Artie knows the show and realizes he may be a topic of conversation. I mean, I'm not saying give daily updates, but maybe every now and then perhaps Howard can call him and say that he's talked to him and without going into it, he's hanging in there. I don't know, it's just his presentation of the whole thing seeminginly not knowing anything about Artie. If he knew what was going on and out of respect said nothing, and clarified that, okay. It's like Stern is too busy w/his mansion in the Hamptons.0 -

what do you want to know? the guy tried to kill himself...the last thing on artie's mind should be the show...and howard for once in his life is being respectful...we don't need any updates on artie...it's none of our business0 -
yeah I think Howard is just respecting Artie's privacyRemember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

I feel like he has clarified that. I wonder if it's not just that you want to know what's going on with Artie."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -

In the words of Ronnie Mund, "Exactly!"
The guy stuck a knife in his stomach, what 9 times. You can't expect him to be back on the show right away, nor can you expect anyone on the show to be in the depth of it all. It's not a matter for the show, it's a matter for Artie's family. I wouldn't want to see him on the show so soon, and honestly I feel we will never see him back.
As for the Stern and his mansion thing, he never talks about. If anything, Howard is humble about his money. He may bitch over and over about the time it's taking is apartment to be finished, but he seems to be pretty tight with his cash.0 -
Back to the show, I thought the clips from the Traci show were good yesterday and I enjoyed the talk with Sussy, bicycler of the world."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0

Yes USA Mens HOckey!!!
All for Arties privacy, but Stern's response has been more like "I don't have a f-ing clue. You probably know more than I do." Just say "I can't comment at this time."
And enough with Idol!!!!!0 -

Then don't listen to today's show!! Now Howard has a caller start the morning off with the Idol talk. Again, I changed the station to the Big 80s!! I've never felt such angst towards the show in the 15 years I've been listening.0 -
Tracy Morgan is gold though.0

Tradio calls have to go. The phony phone calls used to be good, but it's the same thing all the time now."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0

They're beating them to death. Hilarious for the first go around, but lately they've been stale.
After listening to the repeat yesterday, Tracy Morgan is hilarious with the porno chick. Yesterday's show made up for a lot of recent crappy ones.
And damn I wish they played the Tracy Morgan prank call to the old lady on the phone sex line when she gets all racial with him. That prank was genious!0 -
Not all of the old calls were good but at least you didn't know exactly what was going to happen from the beginning. I changed the channel yesterday with the call where Richard kept changing his voice with the modulation.
I heard the Dina call for the first time today. It was awesome, especially because Howard was really pissed at her."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0
