Compelling read. Never read "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" but that will be the next thing I read.

I'm reading Where Men Win Glory, too. Curious to know what everybody else thinks.

I'm only about 80 pages or so into it. I'm starting to respect PT more and more. (Not that I didn't to begin with, I just didn't know much about him.)

The only book I've finished by her was Oryx and crake and I really liked it. And Year of the Flood takes place in the same universe so I couldn't help but pick it up :)

Shakespeare - The World as Stage written by Bill Bryson. Bryson is my favorite travel writer, and in this book he delves into what is known about Shakepeare's life. I probably wouldn't have bought it if Bryson didn't write it, but I find it quite interesting.
