Umm. Dallas beat the Giants by double digits, twice.
Hey genius....you have played them twice this season, and they beat you the same way both times......your unit, the defense, was torched for nearly identical numbers in both games....that's not luck where I come from.....

Hey as a New England Patriots fan the Green Bay PACKERS aren't too bad at 8-1 with a shutout today of the Vikings.

    Peace
yeah but have you seen the way the cowboys play as opposed to the packers?? you're right though.... they're not too bad, or too far behind. cowboys have great offense and pretty damn good defense... the kind that wins big games.

I don't know. Dallas usually drops one of the Washington games. Those games are unpredictable no matter the record of the teams. Weird stuff always seems to happen.

Dallas never seems to win in Detroit either so that could be another loss.

    Maybe Green Bay.

Of course, I thought they would lose against the Giants this week too, so . . .

A couple of good articles in this morning's New York Times about the game....the locals weren't real happy with the home team getting flagged THREE times for Delay of Game......teams making the leap to the next level can't shoot themselves in the foot like....especially at home!!!

This is a season of nemesis games...even when we were the best team in the NFL the 'Boys couldn't beat Miami (think Leon Lett), Buffalo (not counting the SB), Detroit (think Barry Sanders), and Philly (especially on the road think Emmitt getting stuffed on 4th and 1 on our own 30), and we've been able to get by them all pretty easily. I'm guessing the season will end at 13-3/12-4, even in their SB years that's where the Cowboys were at I think (Maybe one 14-2).

It's kinda funny, but without New England this year Dallas would be hyped as an all-time offense (32 pts/gm), but alas, New England was allowed to keep playing after getting caught cheating. I guess it was the equivalent of letting Bill Clinton stay in office - "everybody does it" ;). BTW I'm NOT republican at all.

Haha...I still have a chance at winning the G-men under 8.5 wins for the season, and the Eagles over 8.5.
  • I was on vacation and missed this game completely. Plus, I moved last week and the dish isn't set up in the new house, so I didn't get to DVR it. I heard the analysts saying that NYG just couldn't stand up next to Dallas in the second half, and Dallas just looked like a superior team. Sounds excellent. I hope they show it on NFL Replay this week. Anyway, do yall agree with the analysts?

what we can also consider is that the cowboys aren't the same team they were last year. so maybe the bad luck we have against washington or eagles is irrelevant. (besides, we haven't been 8-1 since 1995) the only game i expect them to lose is the packers game... although, i still think they're better than they are. better offense and better running game.. but anything can happen. i just feel cowboys shouldn't lose to any of the division teams.... this year they are way superior than those teams. but we'll see what happens.

Pretty much......NYG should have had the Big Mo' since they tied the game at the end of the half.....but, Big D blew right by them......which was aided and abetted by the Gi-ain'ts just making repeated mistakes....holding penalties erased an 80+ yard kick return and a touchdown run......three "Delay of Game" penalites on offense at home!!!! Three times....Eli could not get the snap off....Tony and T.O. looked like they were playing catch in the 2nd half.

Cowboys are so annoying to watch!! Romo is the biggest nerd in the NFL, along with their head coach. Who got a boobo after a hand slap with his QB. Jerry jones jumping up and down on the sidelines like a cheerleader, stay in your club box and keep signing criminals you scumbag. The NFL is trying so fucking hard for the Dallas Cowboys to be the face of the league again....it makes me puke.

Very. But at least he made some good tackles.

Man, nothing makes me more nervous than the home game against Washington every year. You never know what is going to happen. 4 TD passes to TO and it still comes down to the last play.

those redskins were actually getting a little pesty. why do they wanna win... i mean it's not like if they'll make it to the playoffs. then they had the tenacity of being disappointed. they should've been glad at how they played... considering that the game was still pretty close. that should be good enough coming from that team.

D-Backs need to get better......but a good win...hopefully they take care of the Jets and then on to the big game for home field through out the playoffs.....man its been awhile since they 'Boys were in this big of a game!

Flagg...talk to those fans down there.....saw too many sittin down durin the 'Skins game......get them pumped for that Packers game!!!

I noticed that too! I was just saying to my wife during the game, "What is up with the fans today?" I don't know what that was about.

Running game is starting to worry me a little but Washington looked determined to stop the run. They just forgot to cover TO is all.

Didn't D-Nabb do Chunky Soup commercials? Who are our premadonna players who think their shit don't stink? Before Tank Johnson who was our criminals? Our team was good before him anyway just ask your boys who got tuned up by the Cowboys 38-10 pre-criminal player. Look I'm fine with you hating the Cowboys, but at least post good reasons for hating them - even if it's just the fact that you don't like a rival.

Agreed. And that's crazy anyway. Position by position the only Eagle I would take over the Cowboys right now is Brian Westbrook. They can have the rest of them.

Romo, Owens, Creighton( 3rd reciever, who shouldn't say a word), JerryJones(main reason i don't like the cowboys), Wade Phillips. No doubt, you guys have a great football team but it's being ran by an asshole. Jones, and guys like Cuban their so annoying...they need to play their position. Jones would sell hid soul to the devil to win a football game,

Criminals- Irving, deion, tank, Roy williams is a criminal on the field.

Romo, I guess is a prima donna, but you don't see him kissing his owner and owner's wife on the cheek pre-game like Brady. Sure he does stupid commercials, but that was my point with D-Nabb he did Chunky Soup commercials with his mom. What has Terrell Owens done this year besides be really good at football? Same thing with Crayton who's done a fairly admirable job filling in for Terry Glenn? They may be confident but confidence doesn't mean you are a premadonna. Wade Phillips is the head coach, but only watches from the sideline when the offense is on the field in favor of a former backup QB calling the signals for the first time - that is definitely not premaddona. Jerry Jones is a rich white guy who is out of touch with reality, no different than any other owner for any professional sports franchise in the limelight. Is your problem with him that as a rich white guy he hangs out with his laborers? Rather than treating them solely as his entertainers? Look I'm not a big fan, but what makes him different than Jeffry Luria or whatever who got rid of the vet and makes you all pay more money as a city.

Michael Irvin and Deion (when was he actually charged with anything?) haven't played with the team in like 10 years. Tank is a criminal but only joined the team last week (maybe he's reformed? ;)), and it's funny coming from someone who roots or rooted week after week for Brian Dawkins and Jeremiah Trotter to be calling anyone else's players criminals on the field.

Just say you hate us and you have no rational reason for it, but that's ok because it is sports.
