    cowboys better get things done this sunday. giants are right behind them and even if they beat the eagles this sunday giants have a real good chance of tying the cowboys with a 7-2 record for the nfc east if they win.

    I question the need for another running back....unless you can get some serious value for Julius Jones. Barber & McFadden would be nice tandem.

    What are everyone's thoughts on the Eagles? I've been reading several of the articles in Philly papers. It is funny to me how much more seriously they take this rivalry than Dallas does. Like their whole season is judged by their success against the Cowboys.

    It was after our 3rd Superbowl (of the 1990's). After that play, we just looked like an old team that couldn't get a yard when it had to. The mystique was over.

    I meant this year's Eagles. They have been so up and down. This is the best chance Dallas has had to win one up there in a long time.

    I feel like the eagles are Dallas's biggest rivalry. I get more worked up for the two games against them more than anyother. I despise Philly more than Wash, NYG, SF or GB. I think Philly fans are pretty fanatic about their sports. They are classically rude to their own players, which is the exact opposite of Cowboy fans who classically worship their players. I'm glad their is so much animosity between the Dallas and Philly, it adds to the game.

    BTW - Eastern Penn is just gorgeous, but damn, the people I met their were rude as fuck.

    Actually, the 4th and 1 play wasin December of 1995. Dallas went on to win the Super Bowl that year despite Barry Switzer.

    One thing about Dallas/Philly is that the better team usually always wins. And when Dallas is up, the Eagles are down, and vice versa.

    With Washington though, you can throw the records out the window because you never know how a game is going to turn out. It doesn't matter how much better than the other a particular team is.
