Sorry, but I feel that ruining his life comes kinda secondary to the fact that hundreds of lives have already been ruined so he can get his sick kicks.

I don't believe in capital punishment at all, but he needs to be taken off the streets.

Apparently he said he was going for help. He never did. One of the last things I said to my ex-friend is what are you going to do the next time you stumble upon his file and you find your daughter's picture in there....

I am a survivor of sexual abuse to where the guy took pictures. It's fucked up. Hands down he should be reported.

You should call the police and let them know about her father if she is not willing to do it. If you don't want to be involved call in anonymously. Even if the files were deleted, there are ways of getting the files off the hard drive. If your ex friend has a daughter I would definately be thinking of calling because you never know what her father might do.

i've stayed away from this thread cuz my thoughts on what to do to someone in this nature are not pretty. HOWEVER, because my mom was an abused child by her own family and wants to help other kids out there, im posting This cuz she asked me to. apologies if this has already been said, but this thread has 5000 views. and your hometown listed. someone from here has probably already told the police. you might want to give your friend a head start, but you're in a situation where you've got to go to them before they come to you. guilt by association ain't fair but good luck convincing a judge of that.

If I was in your position, I'd call the police asap! I wouldn't even confront him about it because child pornographic images don't just appear in someone's file!

There might be an innocent explaination, but if it's in a file on his computer then the chances are, there isn't.

This thread has been going for quite a while so it'd be interesting to know what you did about it; I haven't read the entire thread, either. Whatever you do, you can't leave it like that!
