What an amazing episode. One of the funniest hours ever. I tried to order one of the race t-shirts, but they are already on backorder. I still ordered one and hope it will show up sometime.

I just ordered mine as well.

I had to flip back and forth between the Office and Phils, but still caught most of it. Very funny stuff.

    That was hilarious!!!! Great ep!
  • Kevin: Are you kidding me? Pam and Jim are totally hooking up. All they do is smile.
Oscar: There is no evidence of intimacy.

Ryan: I don’t think you understand how jeopardy works.
Michael: Oh, right, I’m sorry. What is, “we’re fine”?

Overall a very dark episode. I was expecting a little more our of the season premier, but still a good episode nonetheless. I just hope the Jim and Pam thing doesn't pollute the show.

First half hour - not funny...disappointing
Second half hour - slightly funny, a little more background on Pam and Jim.
    Overall I was way disappointed.

I agree. I thought it was hysterical!
  • Honestly it was very disappointing to me too. One of the least funny episodes yet for me.

It's getting too much about couples I think. The show is turning too much about dating life. Who knows, but I thought it was just not up to par to the previous seasons.

I think Ryan being Michael's boss has huge potential in comedy for this season.

I agree. The couples drama has its place. Y'know that feeling you get when you've eaten too much sugar? That's how I felt after watching that episode. Too much Jim/Pam Dwight/Angela... couples focus.

    Kelly: No.

Kevin: Oh well, if they aren't together now then they probably never will be. I thought they'd be good together, like PB and J. Pam Beesly and Jim. What a waste! What. A. Waste.

a sure way to tap the shows creative run earlier

NBC ordered a total of 30 half-hours for the series this season, compared to 24 last season and 22 the season before that.

i love the Office, but tonight's show was a bit below par
  • Solid episode tonight (that's what she said). no TiVo moments, but they filled the hour up pretty well.

I can't believe I fell asleep sometime between 7:30 pm (central) and 7:45. I woke up before it was over though. I wonder what I missed.

Mr. Dunder was funny, as was the part after Ryan got onto Michael in front of everyone. Michael was talking to the camera saying how he saw the light in Ryan's eye and that he knew Ryan wasn't being serious and that Ryan loved him. Ha!
