As soon as she saw the listing for Moriarty in the registry, something clicked...obviously there's some history.

    Best post ever!! :D

And, yeah, I thought it was weird that Ben claimed to have gotten off the island by way of Des's boat. That just doesn't seem right to me.
I don't think Sayid knows about Ben's cache of passports, visas, and money. It seems entirely plausible that he'd lie to cover up whatever f'ed up way he's really traveling around, if just to save Sayid from freaking out

Not sure if you guys read the EW review of the episodes, but this kind of stuck out for me.

"A scene in which Claire experienced a hallucination/prophetic vision was shot for this episode but cut for lack of running time."

Lost last night was only 58 minutes instead of the usual hour and a couple minutes. I really hope they don't start cutting out scenes the rest of the season so as to fit in extra Grey's scenes because Grey's ran long last night.

Sorry, I know there are a lot of fans of both shows, but I'd rather keep Lost intact personally than lose scenes because of Grey's.

I'm a huge fan of Grey's but I don't think anyone is a fan of cutting short Lost.

any pick up on this. They were playing Risk. They said that Austarlia was the most importnat part to the game......they all were in Australia when they took off on the plane.

do you think that was a hint to some significance to Australia?

The thing is knowing this show it could be anything. It could be an inside joke, a tip to what's going on, or just a commentary that Hurley knows his board games:

I found this on the how to win at risk wikipedia page (so it must be genuine knowledge ;) )

The fact that you only need to keep your armies on one country and your continent is protected, is what gives those players who grab Australia at the outset of the game, such an edge.

OK I didn't find a clip of Locke blowing up Smokey...but I found a synopsis:

"On their way back to the Hatch, Jack and Kate see what seems a small cloud of black smoke move in an unnatural way through some near trees, followed by the rumbling of the "Monster". According to plan, Jack and Locke drop their packs, but Kate forgets and keeps hers on.
The "Monster" disappearing, after being dynamitedLocke wants to get a glimpse of the "Monster", and almost ends up under it. His leg becomes caught by the Monster, which drags him through the jungle. Jack grabs onto his arm and is dragged as well, and prevents Locke from getting dragged into a deep cavern underground.
Though Locke pleads with Jack to let him get dragged under, Jack instead tells Kate to grab dynamite out of his bag and drop one down, revealing that he had in fact switched the content of their packs. Kate drops the dynamite down the tunnel, causing an underground explosion, resulting in black smoke similar to that seen before coming out of a nearby hole on the horizon, moving in a bizarre, almost supernatural way, and disappearing, all in less than a second. The hold on Locke slackens, and they are able to extract him. Later, Locke reveals that the reason he wanted to fall in the cavern is because it was his destiny and he felt the Island was testing him."

Interesting stuff. I wonder where that cavern lead to. So many unanswered questions. Still, with Eko, the monster just outright killed him, I wonder where it was going with Locke

I'm thinking the cavern led to that weird room that was connected to Ben's closet in his house.

Whereever Ben went, that door had similar hieroglyphics to the 108 minute countdown timer in the Swan.

Anyone notice in the end when Ben and Widmore are talking and Widmore says he's gotten tanner? Ben replies with "Your rock is lovely this time of year." I have a niggling little feeling that that sentence went like this : "Your Rock is lovely this time of year." As in the Black Rock...also, Charles has a painting of the Black Rock next to his bedside table. Suspicious stuff there, especially since Widmore's ancestor was the captain of the ship (and he recently paid through the nose for the ship's logs)

As one of the few Juliet fans on here, what is up with Farraday blatantly lying last night and no one all up in arms about it?

For as much of a leader Jack is trying to be, he sure has laid down in front of Charlotte and Farraday giving them free reign of the camp with no results or answers. Jack is really being played by them right now.

Probably because Farraday did a hell of a good job opening for Eddie Vedder on his recent west coast tour.
