I was very happy to hear Jack say that Sawyer chose to stay. That means he is not dead. Also, I think Kate's errand for Sawyer was somehow related to taking care of his daughter. She was probably on the phone with the girl's mother when Jack first got suspicious.

It means he wasn't dead when the Oceanic 5.5 left the island in the chopper, but he could be polar bear food the very next day. ;)

And if Benry is traveling the world fighting Widmore with Sayid at his side, Smokey could be running wild over the island.

Locke is in charge of the island and Smokey when Ben is gone.... since Richard is still leading the Others to the Temple or trying to recruit new doctors from the mainland ;)

So very true......... except I refuse to believe that Sawyer is dead! SAWYER LIVES! Well, maybe. According to Hurley all of them are dead I guess. I still wonder about that purgatory theory.... The producers could have lied. I can't believe it is heaven like Hurley said. Jack didn't seem that happy at the end. Nor did Hurley seem that happy. But the death theory does explain Christian showing up here and there. The time travel theory would explain some of it too. I will call it the combo time travel/purgatory theory.

I've seen an interesting theory that they are not in purgatory, but in a comatose state, like all in the same ward in a hospital, and when someone dies, they die on the "island", and they are guided away by another dead person (Eko by his brother, Claire by Christian last night, she could end up dead from head trauma as the "island" explanation.), and Jack nearly died last night, the beeping of the smoke detector could have been his monitor flatlining, and Christian was there to guide him away, but they resuscitated him just in time.

So is the war between Widmore and Henry a war between good and evil - for their souls?

Pretty good theory... I was thinking something similar after watching the last few weeks of My Name is Earl where Earl has been in a coma and having his own little sitcom going on in his brain.

Another thing that seems to keep coming up for me is the Hyperspace theory, which states that there were originally 10 dimensions but they split into 2 (one 6 dimensions, the other 4). We are in the 4 dimension space but maybe the island is in the 6 dimension space which would explain the "ghosts" and other sightings. Hyperspace has been used in the past to try to explain near death experiences and those who talked to the dead as well as deja vu.

that makes my head hurt. :)

speaking of talking to the dead...it's kind of nice to have miles around... he answered the questions about danielle pretty quickly. but why didn't he sniff out christian lurking around holding his grandson? :D

I wondered that same thing. Does that mean Christian isn't dead, or he just isn't dead in the same way that Danielle and Karl are? I was saddened to get confirmation that Danielle was, in fact, dead. I still want to know more about her.

everyone is talking about the pills Jack asked for the other night as if that is the start of him getting outta control or a relapse.

he asked for clonazepam, which is a drug for mental issues. one wouldnt pop those pills like jack was popping them earlier.
    Peace, Love.

I read something today that said tonight is the "penultimate episode" of the season, which would mean the second to last episode (I looked up "penultimate").

I thought the season finale was on May 29. Weren't they adding an extra episode? I thought we had five episodes after the break. I guess after tonight that will be 3 with a 2 hour finale would be 5. I hope it isn't ending next week.

this episode is supposed to be better than Ji Yeon? wow....

anyways, I don't think this week is the last for the season, that would blow.

darn...i thought penultimate meant really really cool or something like that. penultimate is a good word, i'm going to start using it.

it doesn't seem like there should only be two weeks of lost left...i thought we were getting an extra, too.

I found out what is going on. There is this week's show. Then next week is what is billed as the first hour of a 3 hour season finale. Then there is a week break (May 22-no show), then May 29 is the 2 hour season finale.

That sounds better than tonight and just one more show.

and the finale is a real two hour finale, right? not an hour-long recap as they like to do?

nope two full hours.... that's the reason for the additional episode as well as the week off (so that GA can have its 2 hour finale)

God I hate GA. Because of it, I won't be able to watch the Lost Finale until Tuesday Night after it airs. :(

At least though, I have a good excuse. I'll be in Hawaii for a wedding. I already signed up for the tour again where I go on the fish pond boat ride at the Kualoa Ranch so I can walk onto the dock that is the gateway to the island.

I'm doing much more of a Lost virtual tour this time around, because unlike my first Hawaiian vacation, I actually know where things are now. ;)
