But, why would his death have broken Jack up so much?

If Jack feels (right or wrong) that he is responsible for Michael's death, similiar to why he wouldn't want to see Aaron, because if Claire died and he felt responsible.

no i dont think it does explain why kate wouldnt go. these people are being threatened to keep their mouths shut. they have to do what is said or else they face some bad consequences.

what if they are offing the oceanic 6. hurley went nuts and all of a sudden scary man showed up to ask questions and hurley was scared shitless.. well what if hurley ends up dead later on.. and then someone else.. maybe sayid.. i dunno.. so when michael turns up dead it pushes jack over the edge.. he almost kills himself cause he knows he's probably next. kate didnt go to the funeral cause she can't risk it. shes got aaron. she can't be seen as cracking like jack is.

Actually I think Hurley going nuts has more to do with being off the island (i.e. Minkowski's headache's) and the need of a constant to keep his sanity more than anything else. I think that whoever is in the coffin committed suicide (if I remember correctly) because of the effects of being off the island (ie time shift or travel) and not having a constant. The timeframe in which these symptoms occur may vary from person to person but I think Jack, Hurley, and the others will come to fear this and it will be a catalyst for Jack's wanting to return to the island.

Hope some of that makes sense :D

Well if Widmore is behind the freighter, Paik industries and Widmore have ties. Would it be inconceivable that Sun's dad somehow separated his daughter from Jin and made him be left behind while "rescuing" his daughter on Widmore's freighter.

Very astute. What if Claire stayed on the island to be Aaron's constant? What if Jin stayed behind to be Sun's (assuming that he really isn't dead), I started to say that Sawyer stayed behind to be Kate's, but they would have had to know each previously, right? O.K. now I'm getting myself confused again.

It's conceivable, just as many other things are. Sun's reaction at the gravesite makes it conceivable that he is dead.

Ok, I'm an idiot. What made Jin's scenes a flashback? I know when he got to the hospital, they said it was a boy and all those people were guarding her. Did she have a baby prior to meeting Jin and that's what that scene was all about? Also, when she was having Ji Yeon, didn't she say for them to call her husband, Jin? If he was dead/still on the island, then why would she say that???? I'm all confused.

He said he had only been marroed for 2 months is one clue. The second was the fact that she was at her grave sight. The only way his was a flash forward is if Sun's dad had Jin hoax his death because he is pissed at Jin for trying to take his daughter to USA and ended up almost killing her in a plane crash, and is making him continue to work for him to pay off his debt.....but I don't think that is then case.

The store keeper said year of the dragon is when I figured it out.

I was born in the year of the snake 1977 - one year after the year of the dragon. Chinese years are every 12 years. So the year of the dragon is 1976, 1988 and 2000. So this flashback happened sometime during the year 2000.

I dont think so, I think that was flashback to an earlier event right after he married Sun and Im guessing, giving a gift to the ambassador was part of his new job (perhaps Suns father had something to do with that).

At first< I thought that was after they had returned, especially when he laid that wad of cash out for the second panda, but it was a boy, the woman was not sun, and yes, he did say I have only been married two months

but what about the dates on jin's tombstone 1974 and 1980?????

No, he wasn't married before Sun. And, no it wasn't Sun in the hospital. He was visiting a "work associate's" wife and delivering the panda to her...on behalf of Paik Automotive (hence the BLUE bow).

11/27/74 is when Jin was born and he "died" on 9/22/04.

Sun was born was on 3/20/80 and the date of death is left blank.

well, assuming he was being truthful about being married for 2 months, that would have meant that he and Sun would have only been married for 2 months. We know that they were married for a lot longer than that prior to the island, and he delivered the panda for Sun's dad. He said he was working for him the the ambassador. Unless my other post about Jin hoaxing his own death, I would think that this means his was a flashback.

But hell, I don't know. Everytime the shows ends I have to take a shit!!!! SORRY FOR THAT!

All I can say is wow. That was a great episode - but I wish the writers wouldn't play with us like they did w/ Jin & the panda!

Didn't they say that we would find out the last of the "Oceanic 6" last night? If yes, I have to conclude that they counted Aaron.

I must say, I was very sad to see that Sawyer is not one of the six.

Well, Sawyer would have been welcome to come stay at my house if he needed a place to hide...but he'd already said he wasn't leaving.

I'm pretty sure that Jin is dead. I don't think Hurley was being unkind to Sun or dense when he said "Let's go show him." I think it was the gentleness of someone who doesn't want to say "dead". I'm not sure, but I don't think he ever said to Claire that Charlie was dead, he just hugged her and cried. There are still odd pieces tho' when he asks if anyone else is coming...to what? Jin's memorial?

Are there any takers on my pal Sharon's theory that it wasn't Michael we saw last night, it's a grown up Walt? (Be nice, Sharon's pregnant and she admits that she has some odd ideas funded by heartburn).

Yah, but a girl can always hope :) As long as they keep going back to the island (and as long as he didn't die!)

As for the Michael/Walt theory - it looked a lot like Michael to me.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure this one out. They were both dressed to impress. He's also seems to be of sound mind unlike the last time we saw him in a flash forward.

The twist at the end of last night's episode was great. I didn't catch on until the grave scene. When Jin said he'd only been married 2 months, my first thought was that he had remarried. I had to watch the last 10 mins. again.

Kevin Johnson looked different than I remember him.

It's funny the people who pop up on that show...The women who jumped off the ship was in Quentin Tarantino's Deathproof. To be honest though, Im a bit tired of Lost. The only reason I still watch it because I have been watching it so long..what can I say, Im not a quitter...
