    A total hunch but I don't have any other ideas as to why Sayid cares so much about Naomi (especially after seeing the bracelet), and why the future spy-girl had the same bracelet on.

    EDIT: On another note, about Kate getting off the island and possibly going to jail again.. I don't think she would goto jail. I think she would be pardoned because of the trauma she endured from crashing and being on an island for 4 months. Just my opinion though.

    I like your theory on the bracelets. I kind of have a similar one. But the more I think about it - it's kind of hokey. What's next decoder rings? ;)

    one other thing. why was sayid crying at the end. i mean, i know he cared for her but it turned out she wasn't what she said either. she was setting him up as well...

    Yea, it's sort of odd. I mean, why would some spy organization issue company bracelets? But I still don't think I'm THAT far off. Maybe Sayid knows a guy who specialized in making said bracelets. Idk, but I think someone in Sayid's past is connected to Naomi's bracelet (Sayid looked at her bracelet and became overly concerned about her once he did). Which means that the girl who was hired to kill Sayid (future Sayid) is connected somehow too.

    I don't think he was ever actually suppose to kill her boss. I think she was the 'target' the whole time.

    I think if he was planning to kill her she would have been dead soon after they met. I don't think Sayid's initial plan was to fall in love, I think it was to get close to her to get to her boss.

    Because he couldn't tell her the truth that he was suppose to kill her.

    Another question, how come the phone conversation was real time between the freighter and island, but yet the timing beacon or whatever it was arrived much later.

    How could an island slow down physical properties like that but allow transmissions to occur instantaneously?

    So when the helicopter is flying now, is it flying into the past?

    Difference between sound and light waves... just a guess :D Actually I would guess that transmissions aren't affected but rather light is bent through a "worm hole" which leads to the island at a specific point in space.. hence the "make sure to fly the same bearing no matter what" statement. And would explain the way the light is cast on the island comment last week...

    it is going to take me some time to try and wrap my head around this episode.

    hi.. not much to say that hasnt been..

    i agree that sayid and naomi must have a connection we dont know about..

    did anyone say the idea that maybe sayid doesnt want to be doing this.. maybe he was crying at the end because he is a prisoner to ben.. he did keep sayiing "you do want to help your friends dont you".. this is what he had to do to save them all...

    and can someone just confirm for me who took off on the helicopter.. was that desmond on it too?
