Playing the find815.com game last night and the guy (sam?) who is looking for answers looks a little like Heath Ledger.
One week to go!
Yeah, I like the game though I went to one of the fan sites or people playing this game who are really looking into the hidden meaning of everything in the game and the amount of research people have put into this online game is insane.
I thought I was a Lost freak until I checked out the site ... lol.

mmm i think i know what you are talking about. i tried to play the game last year but seriously could not keep up. it was just supposed to be fun but these people are animals. not to mention .. THERE IS NOT A HIDDEN MEANING IN EVERYTHING. sometimes it is what it is. i hate when people are like "oh my god did you see that tree in the corner of episode 12, scene 5, it had some coconuts on it and they only grow when facing the north west quadrent of the world so this is where they must be".. no.. just shut the fuck up and enjoy the show.

You hit the nail on the head. People are trying to decipher codes and latitudes and longitudes and people are actually hacking into the game site to see the links before they're released to the public.
I just play the game because there are a couple brain teasers and some interesting little teasers about season 4. I don't need to know that there is a parallel mirror site on a different server that if you punch in the coordinates backwards you get to see someone's idea where the crash site was.

5/23/2011- An utter embarrassment... ticketing failures too many to list.
I am almost through watching season 3 on DVD. I just need to watch the season finale. Last night I watched the "greatest hits" episode where Charlie writes the five best moments of his life. It was a great episode.
Watching a season on DVD is really the way to do it.

I really think Charlie was/is the most well rounded character on the show. He's gone from being the heroin addicted nuisance, to a heel, baby kidnapper, Sawyer's fool and finally hero. The Greatest Hits episode was gut wrenching to watch knowing he would meet his mortality.

Yeah I think it was harder to watch last night than when it first aired because I knew for sure that he was going to die. When I watched it when it aired, I was holding out hope he would live.
I agree with you about Charlie. His character arc was very interesting. Last night I really noticed how far he had come when he told Jack he would go to the Looking Glass and he was very assertive about it.

don't get me started on charlie. :( i'm so sad he's gone!!
i don't think this is a spoiler, because i don't know the answer to the rumor/teaser...but here goes the large gap in case anyone wants to scroll over and not have any knowledge of this post...

i will too. nothing (and by that i mean everything) surprised me on this show.
Exactly.
Say, I'm not sure if anyone talked about this when the episode aired, but, did anyone catch how Locke's Dad got on the island? It took me watching the third season again to catch it.

there was an explanation other than the "magic box" he was supposedly inside? it has been months and months and months so i'm racking my brain...

Didn't he tell Sawyer, he died? He said something happened, he blacked out and ended up there. Then he said, "It's a little hot to be heaven."

Ok, cool. Remember when Locke is in Ben's closet and Ben tells richard to "get him the man from Tallahassee"? Shoot to the next episode or so when Locke traps Sawyer in the Black Rock with his father and he begins to tell sawyer that he was driving down Highway whatever in Tallahassee when he gets slammed into from the rear. He says as he was getting put in the ambulance one of the EMTs winked at him before it all went black and the next thing he knows, he's sitting in that dark room when Ben opens the door and to reveal him to Locke. Locke's father was convinced the island is purgatory but in reality Ben's people slammed into the back of him, drugged him, put him in the submarine and shipped him to the island. At least that's what I gather

oh yeah...it is all coming back to me and now i sort of wish i did a power viewing of season 3 on dvd. i didn't do it for season 2 when season 3 started because it was only 4-5 months between, whereas from season 3 to season 4 will be 8 months - ugh.

I agree with everything you wrote except that his father thought he was in hell, hence the "it's a little hot to be heaven" comment.

yea i picked up on that because i remember him saying the ambulance worker said something like "you are going to a better place" and then he ends up on the island.. i figured that was the case.
I agree with everything you wrote except that his father thought he was in hell, hence the "it's a little hot to be heaven" comment.
yes he thought he was dead. he was drugged, passed out for forever and wakes up to see what he thought was his dead son. remember he pushed Locke out the window thinking he killed him and then fled. so to be there with him meant he was on the other side. its not like there is a definitive answer for what its like after we go.. he could have really believed that was it
I agree with everything you wrote except that his father thought he was in hell, hence the "it's a little hot to be heaven" comment.
Right right right. Hell, not purgatory. Sorry, I confused his sentiments with my own when the show began but I remember that line now. That was the biggest thing I noticed after watching season three over again and had to share it.
So, when the season starts next week are you guys going to start another Season 4 thread or just keep this one?

SEASON PREMIERE
FEELING THAT THEIR RESCUE IS IMMINENT, THE SURVIVORS PONDER CHARLIE’S FINAL MESSAGE THAT THE PEOPLE CLAIMING TO LIBERATE THEM AREN’T WHO THEY SEEM TO BE, ON THE SEASON PREMIERE OF “LOST”
Awarded the 2005 Emmy and 2006 Golden Globe for Best Drama Series, “Lost” returns for its fourth season of action-packed mystery and adventure -- that will continue to bring out the very best and the very worst in the people who are lost -- THURSDAY, JANUARY 31 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
After Oceanic Air flight 815 tore apart in mid-air and crashed on a Pacific island, its survivors were forced to find inner strength they never knew they had in order to survive. But they discovered that the island holds many secrets, including a mysterious smoke monster, polar bears, housing and hatches with electricity and hot & cold running water, a group of island residents known as “The Others” and a mysterious man named Jacob. The survivors have also found signs of those who came to the island before them, including a 19th century sailing ship called The Black Rock, the remains of an ancient statue, as well as bunkers belonging to the Dharma Initiative -- a group of scientific researchers who inhabited the island in the recent past.
In the season premiere episode, “The Beginning of the End,” feeling that their rescue is close at hand, the survivors don't know whether to believe Charlie’s final message that the people claiming to liberate them are not who they seem to be.
The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers must continue to work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive. But as they have discovered during their 90-plus days on the island, danger and mystery loom behind every corner, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them. Even heroes have secrets.
So, when the season starts next week are you guys going to start another Season 4 thread or just keep this one?
i guess keep this one since it is titled "lost: season 4." i just think season 3 was so awesome that we couldn't help ourselves in starting the season 4 thread.
