I kinda feel bad for Portugal. Having seen how good a keeper Ricardo is, the 2 shots he failed to save against Germany seem all the more incredible.

Here's hoping Buffon doesn't let any through today. :)

Manchester United have dismissed reports linking them with Italy coach Marcello Lippi.

oh that´s so good ;) bec. i can´t stand that guy...

You are hard to figure out sometimes. You can't stand Lippi, but you adore C. Ronaldo. Now Lippi isn't that high up on my fav list or anything, but if I had to choice between Fergeson andLippi I'd pick Lippi any day of the week and twice on.... well you get the picture.

By the way C. Ronaldo might not be a real girl, but he's more of a girl then he is a man.;)

I think the second Sweini goal wasn't his fault. The first well I think this shitty ball has a lot to do with him missing that shot.

He also said or suposedly said that Spain is more for furtuoso players like himself. Well after all the bad things I said about him I must now say something to his credit, at least he is modest.:D

yeah there some cases that are alright, I just put those names cause those were the only ones I could remember while I was typing that. About Trezeguet, he's case is kinda curious, from what I was reading his dad was and argie playing in France in the 70's and Trezeguet was actually born there so my mistake cause he's really french... the funny thing is that when he was only two his dad returned to Argentina where he was raised and lived there until he was 17 and started his professional career. Then Monaco signed him and was called for the U21 French team and the rest is history, when he arrived in Monaco though he spoke only spanish, had to learn french and all that. And to close the full circle, his father was son of French inmigrants to Argentina.... what goes around comes around I guess.

Klose and Podolsky I know they were both raised in Germany so is ok, same with Viera.... Camoranesi got his italian passport because his grand parents were italians, Argentina never called him for their national squad so he accepted Lippi's call. But Senna and Pernia cases are just plain wrong imo.

I agree. You can't go shopping for the national team.

ok...but the whole world do i think ....last night wasn´t either fair from the german fans to boo ronaldo ...i think you´re wrong but ok that´s the way you see it...
and i allready think it´s better for him to move to spain ...i´ve change my mind of that bec. what the english press is doin or did it´s death...

Well he has it coming. He isn't a nice person. I hope the fans of his new club will boo him just the same. He should publicly say he is a cheat and that he will change his ways. Otherwise I think the booing is totally justified.

If by now people can't see that Ronaldo is a diving piece of shit, who is the absolute anathema to the concept of fair play, it's time for their optometrist to be stripped of his or her license.

Wait, you don't see me complaining about Grosso? Check my post history over the past 2 weeks.

As for Robben and Henry, I make a point of really paying Robben out when he's not wearing the Chelsea blue. And then also sometimes when he does pull on the blue and go for a really comical dive. Henry too. It's just that CR's diving has really stood out this WC.

You are right about at least Robben he is almost as bad as C. Ronaldo. and I say almost because ..... no on second thought he is just as bad.

I haven't seen Henry dive before and I was surprised that he did this tournament, still I give him the benifit of the doubt. Twice is nothing compared to Figo, Robben and C. Ronaldo or Inzaghi.

The Grosso dive well it was one dive so not enough to lable him a cheat.

Robben is just as bad at Chelsea as he is for the Dutch team. No difference at all. He did so at F.C. Groningen and he did so at PSV. Hiddink tried to get it out of his game and it was a little less at some point, but with his transfer to Chelsea he forgot about what he was taught.

Oh, I know that. I just tend to criticise players less when they're in the blue.

Mexican leftback Salcido might very well be on his way to PSV. I believe he played well, but still I would like to see some Dutch player join PSV. I don't like it if a squad is full of foreign players. Last season there was a match in Holland that at one point didn't have any Dutch players on the field. That was pretty bad.

It is almost certain that Salcido will come to Eindhoven. He didn't play in a friendly because of his soon to be realised transfer.

Valter Birsa or something like that will not come he decided to go to Sochaux instead.
