    Seeing a dead cat on my way to work did NOT make my day... in fact it made me rather sad :(


    My bus being like an oven and the windows not opening didn't do much for me either... now I am a cranky pants :eek: :p

    So...I'm starting college this Sept. Right now I live with my mom but I decided to go live with my dad for the duration of college because he lives a good 45 min drive closer to the school. Seems logical right? While my mom has suddenly decided to be the travel agent for guilt trips and keeps holding it against me.

    I have this cat that is like a child to me and whenever I get home he's waiting at the top of the stairs for me...he's just like a puppy, he gets so excited when I get home. Anyway, when I got home from the beach yesterday he was doing his whole excited thing and I was like "I'm really going to miss having him here when I get home." And my mom shoots me a dirty look and says "He'll still be here when you get home." stressing the home part. Like I'm not supposed to feel at home while at my dad's place.

    She asked me what my class schedule was like and when I told her she said something about how that leaves me a lot of free mornings maybe I could get a job in Guelph (where she lives) instead and only stay at my dad's place the 2 days a week I have to be in class early. When I reminded her that I should probably spend the extra time in the day doing school work instead of driving for almost an hour to get to Guelph she just looked at me with this horrible look on her face.

    I understand she's going through the whole empty nest thing or whatever but come on. Everyday since I found out I was accepted she's said something to make me feel bad about going. And it's working! Now I feel like I'm an asshole for moving. But I'd really rather not be living out of a bag for the next two years which is basically what would happen if I did things her way.

    Fuck. Sorry that was so long...

    Feeling like crap and having class tonight :( All of a sudden I am getting earaches :confused: maybe that is more of a wtf but anyway!! I feel like I am a bear... and I hate being cranky.

    And the poor thing is in Pittwater (near Bayview). It is a long way back out to the heads or open ocean. Hopefully the yacht can coax it back out

    feeling like i made an idiot out of myself while talking w/ the district manager of the northwest today...boo!! it was not the best first impression...and the worst time to not have a thought in my head. i'm blaming the hurricane ;) i'm hoping that this doesn't hurt my chances of taking over a position in one of the seattle stores in the spring (if a position becomes available).
