My small town opened a dog park today -- and our pooches had the time of their lives! Remy's expression in the first pic says it all! We were there for just over two hours and wow - more dogs kept arriving and there weren't any fights. We just let our dogs go and sort things out on their own. Charley had a couple of moments of chasing a boxer in a snarly kind of way, but later on the two of them were wrestling...

There were a lot of goldens there of pretty much every age. The golden puppy in one of the photos is jumping on somebody's pug, and the pug's owner didn't much care for that, but it was pretty hilarious.

It was such a great morning for all these dogs - running around and making new friends, learning new social skills!!! Wow! Dark parks are awesome!!

Anyway, enjoy the photos of everyone and their dog...

As part of being a personal assistant, I take care of my boss's doggie, Hazel's vet appointments. She has Addisons, which is a lack of a working adrenal system so poor Hazel has to get a shot ever 28 days to keep her from going into shock over life's little every day doggies stresses. Today was one of the Vet Tech's B-days, so they had a little party with Hazel and here is how they brought her back to me. I about died!

Last night we adopted another dog. We already have a 14 year old Shepherd mix and a 9 year old Chow mix. She is a 3 year old Rott/Shep mix and is just a sweetheart! Her name is Eliza but we really don't like that name so are going to change it - just not sure what we are changing it to yet......
