thanks for the good wishes, y’all. we got home at 3 am. we are both tired. we think she has Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis. it’s not all that uncommon and it’s tough to know how/why she got it. she got some fluids and anti-nausea meds at the ER. I hope she feels like drinking today….I felt like drinking last night! BTW - I didn’t see a single car on the road on the way home last night….we’re not in vegas, anymore!

Sending hugs and healing to you all.  Poor Piper. Hopefully she’ll be back to her old self in no time.

I hope Piper is starting to feel better. It is so hard when our pets get sick - on them and us. Has she been drinking anything yet? I am glad it was something they were able to quickly diagnose and start treating.

Awwwww look at this guy. Love black labs. My grandmom had one back in the day. If we were ever to get another pooch, and a different breed, this would be at the top of the list. 

Our last dog was a golden retriever....he died about 8 years ago and it took us a long time to be ready for another.

I always figured we would get another golden but we have a client that breeds labs and seems to do a really good job with them so we gave it a shot.

He's great so far.  I can't believe how much he sleeps...he puts himself to bed around 9-10pm and is fine until we get up in the morning to let him out and feed him.

part of “our walk” is around a cul-de-sac…..their are maybe 12 houses in there and about seven houses have doodles….no real dogs on the whole street.

Labs are terrible puppies and great dogs.  He looks like he will be a big one
